Hi doc, in hall technique do we only choose the crown size and we place the ssc without any adjusting of the ssc? For the tooth with pulpectomy why the tooth and ssc need to be adjusted and not be placed like hall technique? Thank you
Thank you for a great video! How do you troubleshoot crowns that’s not seating proximally (shown on radiograph) in particular on upper Ds but everywhere else seems to be sealing? Thanks in advance!
Usually proximal fitting issues arise where there is a ledge that forms during proximal slicing of the tooth... Always pass a probe to check if it passes smoothly and only then place the crown
Hey preshit... So the E stands for the 2nd primary molar... Like how we label primary teeth from A to E in each quadrant... The LL and the UL stand for Lower Left and Upper Left.... If it's LR and UR it's for Upper right and Lower Right ... Hope this was helpful
Dear Dr, Thank you very much for your interesting video. Btw, which handpiece is better for this training: electric handpiece vs air-driven handpiece? Best regards
Thank you for the appreciation If you're asking about the tooth preperation then you would be using the air driven handpiece But if you're prepping the stainless steel crown then that would be with the electric handpiece. I shall be uploading a video on how to place a crown soon so stay tuned for that 😊 Hope this was helpful
why is it a contraindication to not do a crown in a tooth undergoing resorption or exfoliation? Is it because the prep could damage the underlying successor tooth ? And also proximally how much would you remove minimally? Thank you :)
A tooth undergoing resorption or is close to exfoliation would not last that long.. hence putting a crown would be unnecessary as the tooth would fall off very soon... In case of early resorption or exfoliation expected earlier than the normal age it is preferable to remove the tooth and place a space maintainer
@@pediatricdentistrysimplifi6897 Thanx ..So stainless steel crown does not have better role in exfoliation of permanent teeth if SS crown in primary teeth??
Hello 😊 baby teeth roots start to resorb or melt as the permanent teeth push them from below.. when that happen the baby tooth starts to move and falls off.. when that happens, the metal crown falls of with the tooth
