Honored to say I was in attendance for Pedro Martinez's last pitched game. It was on November 4, 2009 at Yankee Stadium when the New York Yankees won their 27th World Series Championship. I was in section 130, row 17, seat 3.

Watched him in Montreal, saw him live in Boston 2000... Pedro was pure art his arm action was so smooth and he had great natural tail on his pitch

The Expos were stacked with Dominican players back in Pedro's days. The Manager Felipe Rojas Alou was a major contributor to Pedro's sucess.

Dominicans have the funniest accent. I'm a Dominican so chill. My mom, aunts, and inlaws that emigrated here in their 20s speak like that. I came when I was nine, almost ten, and for some reason the kids in schools, once I learned English, called me a Russian. Apoerantly I sounded like a Russian that barely knows English as I was learning it. But I no longer have the accent, but I found it funny. Not offensive.

Yes lol I'm Mexican living in California and I had a co worker who was Dominican from the Bronx. When he would speak Spanish it would throw some of our customers off lol

Pedros really insightful about the kids cuz when I played little league one of the kids was a beast and was throwing a perfect game but got taken out cuz of inning limits
