I knew growing up with Peewee that he was a funny guy. And I know he was great on Adult Swim and his Netflix movie which I loved. But since his death I cannot believe just HOW funny he actually was. The dude was insanely hilarious. I don't know if it's because I'm 38 and I finally GET IT. I mean, I got it before don't get me wrong. But it's like a rediscovering.

This is the fun entertainment we are missing nowadays

Sadly, I understand his...incident....and had read he hated to be stereotyped into this role, and wanted to do more. And he did in some regards. I felt bad for him. Some can embrace such roles their whole lives. Others saw it as a short time gig that took on a life of its own. In a weird segway..take William Shatner and being Capt Kirk. he wanted to move on, but got pulled back into it the rest of his life. Certain celebrities, I can see how it weighs on them.

"Oh man, I remember that show!" I said to myself. So I went to imdb to look at the credits to refresh my memory. I had to scroll down a bit to find Suzanne Somers. The titular character. The reason I'm sure they'd give is because she replaced the original actress after the pilot (ironically, the actress that replaced HER in Threes Company!) But this is the second time in as many days I looked on the site to find the titular character wasn't top billed on their website - the upcoming show Lawmen: Bass Reeves, about the black US Marshall - lists a white guy first. There is some serious b.s. going on over there. I'm sure it's all done by computer, but a computer is programmed by humans whose prejudices are shining bright. But yeah, I can't wait for the Bass Reeves Story...starring Dennis Quaid.
