Peekaboo got inked she’s such a baddie!!! The PetCam footage made me laugh so hard, when you deterred her from picking at her incision site. 😂

Glad to see that Peekaboo survived her spay surgery! I definitely would recommend getting her microchipped when you get her RHDV2 shot (they should have it in parts of Canada since they're starting to see cases there. My vet was able to get them all microchipped (they don't need to be under for it), as they got their first shot. Very convenient, I must say. I'm also sorry they had to tattoo her ear. Could I ask what the numbers meant? My vet only tattooed their bellies with a green dot so they know they're fixed, so I'm surprised they did it on Peakaboo's ear and made it that big.

Thx! She will be getting the vaccine soon from Dr. Beal🙌apparently here in BC they don't usually check for chips in bunnies, they check the tattoo in the ear. It's a serial number that identifies us as the owners. Yeah I was expecting a tiny tattoo on her belly maybe but OH WELL!

It’s great to heard Peekaboo is doing great and didn’t have any problems with the surgery. Bunnies are very very smart! Peekaboo pickup on your energy and know something is up. Just be confident in yourself. You are an excellent bun mom that loves her bun so so much! ❤

Thx Mary Beth! 🥰🥰🥰Yeah she totally knew something was up 🤣 I never had problems picking her up with that before which is why I thought it would be successful😭 I will definitely start trying to pick her up with my hands. It needs to happen!!

haha that bunny cam footage for the coming next preview XDDD You reminded me of myself during Momo and Jin's surgeries. The freak outs. Also yes, I do the carrier thing. It sits where he can see it, and I change hay in there two days before I need to transport him. He then goes inside has a nom comes out and then I change it again on the morning of, he goes inside and I zip it up. I feel so bad cause the look of betrayal. Yet he's not smart cause he forgets and does it again the next morning after the vet.

Yay for peekaboo!! I would suggest training peekaboo to being picked up and allowing her to trust being in your arms! Especially since she is young enough to train! My two bunnies use to be impossible to pick up, but now they are able to trust me picking them up! They rly don’t like it whenever they are at home. But since I did it a lot and give them treats after, they aren’t so scared of being picked up, and they don’t jump out whenever they aren’t on the floor. It took months to get them where they are, but it helps whenever I have to take them somewhere! Also helps whenever I need to just hold them in public (rarely happens, but when I do they do not jump and trust me!) But it’s personal preference, but I know she is still young, so in the long run it might help since I know other bun owners have IMPOSSIBLE time picking up their buns for things like vet app. nail trims etc.

Oh man thanks you're giving me hope!! She usually let's me pick her up on the scratch pad but she was sooooo suspicious that day 🤣🤣I tried picking her up for a few days and gave her a treat right after but she scratched up my neck and I got discouraged😭. I will definitely try it again soon and film my progress for y'all👀👀👀🙌🙌🙌

Congratulations Peekaboo! ❤ love you!!! 😘 by the way it took me 2 years for my girl rabbit to trust me enough to pick her up and not flinch. And my rabbits love to run beneath my feet and around them so I permanently walk verrryy slow and robotically while I am home now.

I know rabbits hate being picked up but instead of chasing the bunny around with a cat scratcher and making her more afraid by chasing her just pick the bunny up and put her in the cardboard box it’s way easier. No hate or anything I love your channel keep up the good work! 😉

As noted in the video I knew it was a dumb idea afterwards but if you've watched my other videos this was supposed to be much easier since she usually loves going up on the scratch pad. I'm going to start practising picking her up with more confidence soon but been traumatized in the past so was very discouraged.

I'm so glad Peekaboo made it through her surgery! Also, the more you try to coax her onto the cardboard, the more she will fear it. Peekaboo is still young, so you should try to pick her up every once in a while. You should do this with confidence, and trust me this will help you in the long run. ❤❤❤

Its so weird, I pick her up with that pad every single day but that morning she just knew something was up! She totally scratches up my neck when I try to pick her up but maybe I'll start trying again thx!! 😭💝🙏

Hi I just got my rabbit snowflake neutered a week ago and it was so scary 😮. Well when I brought her home she just sleep didn’t eat or drink I slept 🛌 by her cage and around 3:30 am she still hadn’t eaten or drank anything. So I looked up on RU-vid that you need critical care for the rabbit and you need to hand feed them until the y feel better . I didn’t have it so I thought quick and got a bunch of lettuce and herbs and some pellets I had and put them in a blender with hot water. I Started to feed my rabbit the food I made for 2 days she finally started eating but to me this was so stressful I have 7 dogs and fixing them is so much easier. Then the vet I went too didn’t call to check on my rabbit until 5 days later. Boy was I sassy too them and won’t be going back too them . I’m just glad I know what to do now and can help people I know if they fix there rabbits and don’t go through what I did .

Thank you for sharing. I have to do my baby soon as well but I’m so scared. I think I’m more scared then her. It’s nice to see the process and what we can expect. It’s so scary. Should I take time off after the surgery? I don’t work from home so I’m worried about that as well.

Willow is going in for her big day the end of next month. Every time I think about it, I tear up! It’s going to be a long 24 hours without her! =( I dread it SO bad! Unfortunately, the United States doesn’t have those onesies (I checked into them) so she’ll be coming home with a cone. ☹️ I thought maybe I could use a newborn onesie? Cut a hole for her potty area? Idk.. I bought some.. I figured it was worth a try as I think it would be MUCH more comfortable than a cone. I’ll just be glad when it’s over and Willow is back home.
