I’m so jealous!! My rabbits took nearly 2-3 months to bond because they absolutely hated each other 😭 I think peakboo was definitely a sweetheart and was not too over territorial :) Basil and Peakaboo’s personalities are definitely compatible! Love seeing 2 happily bonded bunnies on your channel now!! Can’t wait for more videos 🤩🫶

Hurray for part 2! I watched it before work this morning while me and my baby bun had breakfast (her name is Kira btw, and I actually just got her last Friday - such a curious lil sweety ☺️). Anyway, I didn't have too much time to comment until later, but this was another great release. I thoroughly love watching your bunnies' bonding progress not only with each other but with you and Hanno as their bunny parents too! I'm hoping your channel blooms to 1k subs and beyond tbh. Anywho, looking forward to the next one as always. Please do take your time! Your editing has also been super key to keeping it very entertaining for me as well. P.S. A side comment about the litter boxes you're currently using that have the grids: I also use them (two different types and sizes since my bunny is still pretty small) but I totally agree with you - they're excellent! Totally not wired and the grids are thick so bunnies are not likely to get sore hocks, contrary to the concerns of some. Honestly, I think it was a good thing to use to prevent pee scalding for Basil.

cutting back on my bunnies' pellets (i only use them as a treat now) and switching from second to first cut timothy hay (since it's got a more rough texture) helped their excess cecotropes. also helps move fur through their gut since we're heading into molting season!

This has set me up for the day here in the UK, Wow, Basil can eat so much!,they are adorable, and so amusing together, you can see their characters forming, how old is Basil? Your journey has come so far and full of adventure since you got little poppet peekaboo, it’s just wonderful 💕💕

I see you have a separate place for them to pee and poop. Have you considered just having 2 large cat litter boxes for them? Bunnies like to pee and poop while they eat. I have two litter boxes lined with puppy pads w/ binder clips attaching puppy pads to the sides. I use scotch tape to tape the ends to the box so it's completely lined. Then I fill 3/4 the bottom with about 1 inch of hay they don't like and put huge handfuls of the hay they eat at one end. They jump in and eat together side by side (they don't like being in the same litter box together). I change them once a day which is really easy. Just lift up the puppy pad with the soiled hay and throw it away. The box is clean. When they come out into our living room around 5 p.m., I have a carpet where I have put handfuls of different hay where they go and forage and another litter box like the two in their room, where they pee and poop. They don't go back into their pen area until around 3 a.m. I rarely find poop on the floor (only if they jump out before being completely done so maybe a couple).

Yeah I'm working on a few different setups. I just don't want their paws to get covered in pee especially Basil. Ever since I got rid of his other litter box his paws are so much cleaner

You have to cage them for long time to make sure they know where is the spot to pee or poop, and don`t get too personal to their little world, just feed them normal food , nothing too special, or else they will starting get picky.

My buns are doing just fine the way things are. They get the best foods and why not? I want them to live a long, healthy life!
