I got love for Peezy but his thinking regarding school is jacked. For one, no way you're gonna sell me on Detroit Public Schools not teaching some amount of Black history. SOME. Secondly, when talking about the average salary of graduates of top universities that's an average. There are plenty of alums from top colleges that make 8, 9, and 10 figures. Bill Gates? Harvard. Elon Musk? University of Pennsylvania. Jeff Bezos? Princeton. And each has over $100 billion in wealth. Thirdly, with regards to the incomes of people like teachers, lawyers, etc. what he has to understand is their income is ongoing and often rises annually. Rappers generally can't rely on consistent income and don't have any retirement plan. They have to do as much as they can during their window of opportunity and save it, which is unlikely given jewelry depreciation, car depreciation, drug habits, baby mamas, etc. Would you rather make $90K for 30 years (and then receive $60K a year until you die) with summer and weekend breaks and health insurance or make $2 million for three years each and worry about robbery and going broke daily? It's a matter of opinion. Final point, it's likely that he's paying several people large sums of HIS money who went to college. His entertainment lawyer, his business manager or accountant, and any physician he goes to see are at the top of list. Again, those individuals have careers for decades across numerous clients and patients. Win the 40-year war not the 3-year battle. Get a career, kids.
