You just save me $400 dollars. $179 for the new part $125 for the plumber. I decided to look for a video but I didn’t find anything. Except yours. Thanks a million

Great video. My unit hadn't been serviced for years, so disassembly was a bear, included use of WD-40, and plier marks. I'd recommend disassembling every few years just to know everything isn't corroded solid.

Thank you for the video and the "lifetime warranty" info. I bought a kitchen sink faucet 10 yrs ago and I kept the instructions, called the customer service number and they are sending me the cartridge and other parts to fix it. I was so happily surprised! Thank you again!

Thank you Mr. Mike. Your video has help a lot. I had called customer service and got my parts yesterday. They sent me two cartridges. Just installed one tonight and everything is working fine. May God bless you.

Wow! You have made my day! Installed this faucet in 2005 and never thought I would find a solution other than replacing the faucet. 15min and replacement parts are on their way. Within 7 days received a whole new handle assembly. Make sure you verify the finish as we received the Stainless Steel Handle instead of the Chrome Handle. Still replaced the handle just disassembled as Mike shows in this video and utilized the new internal handle assembly with the Chrome Outer Finish to keep the Chrome appearance to match remaining Faucet. Thank you and God Bless!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video and adding the parts list. I was ready to give up and buy a new faucet. No one had the parts.

Thank you so much for posting this video! I couldnt figure out how to get the handle apart. The other faucet repair videos aren't even close to this style of handle. I have had this faucet for close to 15 years & is the first time had a problem & considering I don't think they sell it anymore I thought I was screwed. Thank you thank you. You just saved me $100 (minimum) plumber bill.

Great video! This helped us repair our leaking Pegasus faucet handle. Thank you for having to Home Depot customer service number and parts numbers available too. Awesome!!

The best video for this faucet. He puts you right onto Home Depot with parts numbers and telephone number with option number. Called them and parts will be shipped out same day and receive them in 5 to 7 days. Thanks Mike!

We have same unit. We've been thru every repair on these units, done the warranty replacements twice. Do be aware that they haven't had silver chrome replacement parts for years...ran out long time ago. Closest they have to replace any of the silver finishes is the stainless steel finish. But if you're like us, that gets us close enough. Free is better than perfect finish match.

Mannn... one of the best repair videos. Called the 1-877 # gave the part numbers, done deal. Just like the way it should be. 2 trips to Home depot was a total waste of time, people there are clueless to this number. Thanks a million.

Thanks for this video. I have a different Pegasus faucet (leaking after 9 years) and called the phone number you showed. I got through to them and they are sending me the cartridges I need. I just needed the model number of the faucet. Thanks again.

this was fantastic. Kitchen faucets are all a little different but I couldn't believe that this is the exact faucet I was looking for and now I know how to get it apart without breaking it. Also, I used the model number on this video & phone number and they sent me all the parts I needed to fix mine. Thanks sooo much!

Thank you for giving the model number, I could not find it anywhere on the internet. The disassembly video should help people unaccustomed to faucets, but the goldmine here is the phone number and model number. I called and my free parts are on the way. Don't make the mistake I did though and tell them you have the brass model. It took a while for me to convince her the parts were all the same.

Your video was great, I called for parts for a leaking handle but when they sent my parts after disassembling my handle they were the wrong ones .the cartridge was smaller and so was o rings. I called again and after two other attemps they sent me new handle .I don't want to sound unappreciative but I just needed the right ones my model is 159-944 but it looks exactly like yours.

About how much does this faucet run new? I just took mine out and replaced with a $119 Moen. Good news. Ordered my parts today 2/5/18. They might ask were you got the part #891-0131, I told them i wrote it down off the install manual cuz i threw it away. So maybe say the box, paperwork. It worked-they are sending me parts under warranty. They will also replace the whole spray nozzle because you cannot change parts inside.
@Joegest1
@Joegest1 6 лет назад
the spray nozzle they sent me was brushed metal, i have the chrome. so make sure you let them know. I just changed out the internal parts and all is good.

I found this helpful but after removing the handle I had 2 parts come off. Yours only one part the cap came off with your brass part. If you watch your video again you can see the brass part inside your video at 1:50 you called it the secondary part

I just pulled one of these out that created tons of water damage. Is this pegasus stuff HD Fancy store brand or what? Mine the handle WILL NOT COME OFF. Ive tried getting a wrecking bar in there and still nothing.

Pegasus is a Home Depot Brand. Supposedly, it's better quality than the other Home Depot Brand, Glacier Bay.

No need to put a wrench on that cap. Hand tight is good enough.
