Listened through Pegaus while in the gym. Something about this whole album is different. As a musician (piano and electronic) but metalhead in my heart this was very refreshing. The mixing is insane as well :)

The proof is in the Pegasus. Truly feel like its the best album to date. So cool to have an eye into the process with this video 🖤 Absolutely loving the album. For whatever reason, even if my musical brain expects a melody goes somewhere I didn't see coming... it always seems to land exactly where it needs to be. And I feel like that's rare. I love it so much.

Super glad you mentioned that a song needed to be remixed in order to fit in with the rest of the album. I can't stand albums where they compile a bunch of songs released at different times, with different mixes. Letting go still sounds great!

Play the beast is my favorite surprisingly. I absolutely LOVE tracks like that. I’ve always had a soft spot for rock ballads along the lines of that song, take a picture, etc. Was such a great surprise to hear that at the end.

Altogether this album is a solid 10 in my book 👌 🔥 keep it up!!

I don't know what it is, but after listening on repeat (5 times in full to be exact!) C'est La Vie speaks to me so much and remains my favorite song. I remember you saying this one would be a new fan favorite.

This feels like such a treat! I love when my favorite bands breakdown songs so thank you for this Shayley! I have so many favorite songs on the album! And I love that the album feels so much cleaner now that the entire thing is released! Like I can see how different letting go sounds as a single versus the one in the album! Pretty dope

This was really cool to watch and hear. Straight up congrats to all that was involved.. Shay, Joey, Nick, Jon.. it was great to meet all of you as well. You guys were all really chill and down to earth. Also more than happy to share tips and tricks you were working on. I learned a lot from the 2 short days I was there. Hopefully, I'll be able to get someone from the Joey world to produce a song or two for me haha .. ;) we shall see! :)

I’m still here 6 months later with this record still doing SO much for me. There’s a self-tiled album from back in 2003 from a band called Lo-Pro that was one of the main influences for me to start singing, and Pegasus truly brought me back to that feeling like no other album has since. Man you guys just really killed it on this incredible collection of music, and it makes me proud to have the vinyl famed in my studio. Thanks Shayley for doing what you do for music.

This was so enjoyable to watch, I love hearing how passionate you are about your work and it was awesome to hear the processes of how you composed your songs ☺️ I also think it's amazing that you made a song about a videogame streamer. Games have always been a massive part of my life, including many hours every day playing the drums on rockband back in my teens and university days 🤣🥰

I already appreciated your music and all of the work and creativity you put into Dayshell, but being able to hear you and Joey talk about Pegasus added a whole other appreciation for it. You guys created an absolute killer of an album. You have never missed with a song, and I can't wait to see where Dayshell goes after this!

I found Doc right at the same time Shayley did and couldn't agree more with his experience. I had his stream on all throughout the pandemic and had so many shitty days where he changed my entire day. Fantastic album, man :)

The new mix of Letting Go is amazing, I didn't think the song could get better until I heard the new version.

I remember getting shown Dayshell before I knew who Shayley even was. Not Coming In was my first song I heard and ever since, I got the opportunity to see Dayshell live twice in where I live in Orange County, and then seeing the evolution of each album has been pretty awesome. I feel inspired anytime I get to see Dayshell interviewed or behind the scenes.

Shay this album is so freaking good. It’s by far your best work. I absolutely love the first album so not counting that one. As a backer I’m so proud of what you and Joey created. Love it! Money well spent!!!

I gotta say shay, on I miss you so, I KNEW you thought the OG idea was to wordy. Normally, I always prefer LESS wordy. But goddamn the way the words flowed and the melody it just worked. Id kill to have the demo because I absolutely LOVE the new chorus! but my head still keeps singing the old one in the back! lol

Such a brilliant album Mr Dayshell! I havent had access to a pair of earphones for a while so i just have been jamming it front to back (yeah I'm the two time babeh , six foot eight 😎) through phone speaker and I'm blown away just by that alone... i am, I'm blown away. So what I'm getting at is that even through my crappy lil speaker, each track still sounds like gold so i am very much looking forward to getting some crispy head phone action and live the album like its brand new again and hear all the cool details and hear you and sir Joey's mix. Great stuff. All around. Very impressed but, not surprised. Your Choruses are so good, I wish you had a whole album of just those. lol. My only gripe is that when you teased C’est La Vie the other day, I thought we were getting another Life is What You Make It (which is still my favorite song), and maybe something more synth wave. But, only the ending had it. That said, still love it. 👏

This is such a great inter view of a creative process. I do strongly believe that Dayshell would sound incredible in some modern Drum 'n' Bass remix. If I ever manage to create something like that I will share. But .. to be honest it will need a lot of precise work. Anyways .. great album, great artist!! Kudos!! 💜💫🤘
