Peggy hits her head and loses her memory!
From Married With Children, Season 11 Episode 10, 'The Stepford Peg'. Al is planning a get-together for the guys and they'll be watching wrestling from cable. Al wants Peg to help, but she declines. Then Peg has an accident where she hits her head and gets amnesia. Kelly, Bud, and Al are then amazed to see Peg cooking, cleaning, and doing other housework. They decide to milk the situation for all it's worth.

@@SuperN1ntendoChalmers Despite all his complaints, maybe this is the life he wants. He could have shown some ambition instead of staying in a minimum wage job all his life. You don't need a college degree to start a successful business or at least find a good paying union job. He could have been a firefighter, a mail carrier, or a garbage collector. Peggy may be lazy, but she's very good looking. There aren't many women who would tie themselves to someone as poor and unambitious as Al is.

I once knew a couple where the husband was always multi-tasking while working at home and when he felt like cooking he always used a digital timer to monitor the cooking. The wife would love to criticize him and say "Oh you just love the SCIENTIFIC METHOD, don't you?" To which he ignored her. However there were more than a few times when she was cooking and she forgot to pay attention to the items on the stove, and the smoke alarm would go off from the items being burned on the stove. Fortunately for them, the smoke alarm wasn't hooked up to the house alarm as that would have automatically called 911 for the fire brigade to come put out the fires. Many times after she would burn up the dinner, he would patiently come out with his wallet & car keys and ask her "Should I order IN or do you want me to go and pickup dinner?"

Ah the satellite episode is hilarious. Jefferson "Hey Dan, hand me screw u." Officer Dan "What?" Jefferson "Screw u." Not the exact dialogue but pretty close. Officer Dan goes to charge him and Jefferson gets in the crane kick pose from The Karate Kid. Then of course the wives having the injury pool.

One thing that had changed by this time, season 11, was that Al had begun threatening his family with physical violence. It never happened in the early seasons.
