Pekora Was So Hyped To See Goku Beat Demon King Piccolo 【 Hololive / Eng Sub 】 

If I remember correctly, this is the part where Pekora stopped reading the manga. I wish more people would watch the original Dragonball. So many lore and story in the original connects quite well with the DBZ lore.

I remember as a kid, the Demon King Piccolo fight was so cool to me because it was the very first time Goku had a big fight that didn't involve just him or his friends, or a tournament. The stakes were the entire world instead. The Red Ribbon Army saga also involved the entire world, but the difference was that, except for the Tao fight, there was never a big epic battle for the sake of the whole world. And Goku was never at a disadvantage during the Red Ribbon Army saga, it was more or less a walk in the park for him, and never had to really push himself until the Tao fight (and the rematch of that one WAS a walk in the park for him). The Demon King Piccolo fight was Goku's very first Epic Battle to Save The World fight, and it set a pace for everything that came afterwards.

"The weakness of you humans lies in your compassion and petty emotion." And then Piccolo Jr. would sacrifice himself for the son of the boy that Demon King Piccolo was saying that to. Beautiful.

I wish more people would watch the original Dragon Ball. 😭

Such an iconic moment for DragonBall. Seeing Pekora play Kakarot now makes me want to replay it again.

I loved this dlc. It was so much fun playing as the DB version of these characters, and i wish Kid Goku was playable in more thab just the figg with King Piccolo.

Original DB is also goated. Pekora's reactions will never get old, her cheering makes us happy xD Guess you could say Namekians are _eggcelent_ at breeding 🤣

This and his fight against Piccolo Jr (or Majunior) are still some ot the best fights in the franchise this was when Goku was feeling true pain

OG Dragon Ball is so underrated

I love OG Dragon Ball. It's my favorite part of the Dragon Ball series as a whole. Love it's comedy and tension in it's fights

the fight is a banger even if it's not one of my favs from og but i will say this ending to a villain is one of the most satisfying in the franchise, the great ape fist is so cool

I really wish that OG Dragon Ball would get some love in video game form! DBZ is great, but OG also has plenty of great moments and nice adventures. A open world action rpg using OG's power scale would be so fun!

Wait a second. Did he use his beams to immobilize Goku in the anime aswell or is it just the game? I only remember reading it and there he used a stone to crush the bones.

One minor thing i wish they did hear was how demon king piccolo tortured Goku. He didn't just ki blast his legs out, he picked up 3 rocks and literally slingshot them at him😂 Edit: I just realized something, Piccolo's guts were literally gone. How did he upchuck that egg😂

The dub script is so inaccurate. They are using lines from the old 2001 dub. Why?!

Okay real question, was that not a one handed Kamehameha Goku used to blast himself towards Piccolo? He didn't call out the move, but it sure looks like one to me. Only reason I'm asking is cause everyone seems shocked when Gohan does it against Cell, but here Goku seems to do it.

It sucks that she wont be able to get to know Cooler and OG Broly

Original Dragon Ball is better than 90% of what came after it. The characters were better, the writing was better, and the fights where a lot better too because everyone had different techniques and fighting styles.
