Pele Rises is a new series from Page Films featuring the ongoing refilling of Kilauea's Halema'uma'u Crater after the historic 2018 summit collapse.
Chapter Two keeps the focus on Pele's incredible lava lakes during Kilauea's shorter lived eruption at the beginning of 2023. On January 5th Pele returned again after a short hiatus that started right at the time Mauna Loa also stopped erupting in late 2022.
