Hi Mark, These are great flashlights, also known for their durability and being very waterproof. They are a great light to use on a boat. Thank you for another excellent review and please take care 👍🏻🇺🇸
I have the Pelican Stealthlite for work as it is safe to use around explosive gases and materials. It's extremely durable and easy to use with gloves on. They make great work lights and it's chartreuse colour makes it easy to find. Cheers Mark.
Really like this torch/flashlight. It ticks all the foundational boxes...AA batteries, robust...love how it starts on low mode, which is stealthy and protects night vision a bit. The lumens/duration are at a very useful compromise level..... Very good !
Unfortunately, it doesn’t start on the “low” mode…… It starts on the high mode ( and you’ll know it )…..then a tap of the button reduces it to low. A bit odd. However, it really is an excellent light…..and the fact it has a glow in the dark case is really nice. You won’t believe how handy that is until you have one.
I have had my 3310 color correct flashlight for 3 years now. Still working. People need to use rechargeable batteries. I’ve seen so many flashlights ruined from alkaline batteries leaking and ruining the flashlight! I use envelop pro batteries. Sometimes I use lithium AA if I do use disposable batteries. This is a great light.simple and works. Not the brightest but few hours runtime on hi and dozens of hours on low mode. Low is mostly what I use and is perfect. It glows and is easy to find.
Excellent Review Brother. Used Pelican lights for many years. They held up great through my years as a Firefighter. I had 2 larger lights I used Scuba diving. Thanks for making this. Got to get one for my Mom. Be Safe Brother.
Many of the fire engines that I crawl through to fix their radios, I see this same light tucked away in the door shelves for easy access. Got me to research what these were all about and ordered one. Good review.
I always thought that a glow in the dark plastic body or cover would make a lot of sense in a flashlight intended for bushcraft. The light itself would benefit from a memory setting as a quality of life feature for whatever contex. Also, if they wanted to take maximum advantage of the locked battery it would be nice if they made it a rechargeable with a dedicated USB C port but I don't know how that would impact it's performance or viability for it's intended use as an emergency light. Seems like a good product over all.
Hey Mark! I love this flashlight, because of all you mentioned, and also because it doesn’t use stupid AAA batteries. 3 AA gives it a great run time. The one I can’t find is a super simple 1 AA plastic twist cap light. Absolutely indestructible …..except for the dust from a spice packaging plant where I repaired the machines. It was so small , tough and light, and also with a surprising beam I bought this one as an emergency light, but it has become my camping light 100%
Nice light demo. Not sure if camera or light itself, but noticed on Highway it is very much a Spotlight, but almost no flood light on the sides. I wouldn't think that would be very good for using outdoors.
No cracks on my mine but I keep mine in the wall case and only bring it out during power failures so it does not get a lot of use. I take it you have had issues?
@@MarkYoungBushcraft I have owned around 7 or 8 of them and every one has cracked. It doesnt seem to matter where they are stored. It has something to do with the glow in the dark additive. Pelican is also aware of the issue. It too bad because I find these to be the perfect emergency lights
Hello...nice review...I have a pelican 3410M and I have an issue with it...the blinking feature stayed on...I've tried holding the on/off for some seconds with no luck...Do you know if there's something I can do to fix the issue...thank you in advance..
