Did this same mod on my pond prowler. Work's great. Our roads are not very good here in Illinois so I have to put everything in truck to transport to lake. Then I put everything in boat. Fish on!

I like to add a strong carabiner type clip to the straps so even if it comes loose, strap stays on. I’ve had the clips come off eyelets while holding down construction materials and have learned the hard way not to trust strap clips by themselves.

Nice refinement to your Pelican Bass Raider fishing machine. Ought to be a lot more structurally supported than with those flimsy bungee chords.

No doubt Jeff. Made a big difference. My partner Highlife tried to tell me the bungee cords were pretty much useless all the way around. Now, he has me hooked on ratchet straps. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. I appreciate it. Fish on and have a great day!

Great Mod Vance. I attached Eye Bolts to my trailer and use ratchet straps similar to you. 2 straps across and 1 strap front to back. I have a cheap harbor freight trailer so it was easy for me to put holes in it. Thanks for the vids. I look forward to the next one. Fish on!!!

That is a 5 x 8 Karavan. I cant say anything negative about it. Replacing lights was super easy. Its solid. Gate comes off. Sides go down. Its awesome

I recently purchased a bass raider and I want to add some mods/upgrades to the boat? What type fasteners work best? ( screws, pop rivers, etc)

Well Heath, we have really tried to not drill holes in the boat as much as possible. Only recently did we start doing that. I would say the "skirt" screw or lath screw worked best for us. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and Fish on!

I'm cheap and lazy so I'd probably have just transported it with both seats and take the extra one off and leave it in the car/truck while I'm fishing.😂

Dang that is a tough one Custom D. I assume you tried to get to the parts department at Pelican? They are not always the best on Customer service. How bad is the damage?

www.sundolphinboats.com/partpg/partdtl/kl8.html that’s for the 8 ft version maybe look around the site for the 10. I didn’t check I just needed parts for my 8ft. Maybe check Home Depot for some window sealing strips or something.
