For a first time kayaker, I purchased this for my brother from Dicks Sporting Goods a few months ago for Bass Fishing around South Central, New Jersey.

That’s awesome man, I just got one today for 100 bucks… I’m already thinking of ways to upgrade it…😂 I definitely want a fish finder and trolling motor… I’d like to have an anchor reel too, so I can pull up drop anchor and reel it back up when I’m ready to move. I thought it looked like it would be stable but I gotta say that was impressive. I didn’t think it would be anywhere near that stable. Thanks for the review…✌🏼

That is a slick seat for a Pelican budget friendly kayak.

Yeah id say its pretty damn comfortable for a cheap kayak seat as I own a Ascend 10t. The back could have better adjustment of angle but I would really like to be able to remove the seat for off season storage

It's an affordable budget small lightweight durable stable but slow adventure angler kayak for a small person under 225 #

The seat wasn't at all comfy for me. But at 300.00 plus tax at Tractor Supply it's a good deal. I'll probably spend close to another 100 getting it ready. Mine is a Pelican Castaway very similar.

I agree, Its a good seat in comparison to other kayaks in its price range. Great little kayak for the price if your not that serious about going out every week/month
