I Really like what you did there sir, :=D you've made that vessel one 'Dynamite Gal'! I can't tell you how many hours I've spent watching RU-vid videos of John Boat builds, upgrades and add on's, etc, However the simplicity you've kept in your boat is, in my opinion, Way Better than any of that, Hats Off to You Sir!!
I have the same boat. I love it. I just bought a outboard motor for it today. I made some custom plywood plank for front and back section. I also put my trolling motor in the front. I'm gonna do some more DIY to it here in the next week. Goodjob with your setup👌🏽👍🏼
I'm really debating on getting this boat to get out farther on the river and lakes to be able to do some more fishing. I'm already a kayak fisherman but I like how you set yours up.
hows it handle 2 people? I weigh about 280lb and my kid is around 100. Curious about adding trolling motor and battery. just curious how it works for you if you have 2 people in it
What are the name brand of the seat brackets. We bought some attwood and the bottom is too large to fit between braces on the seats. Ours looks like yours but they aren't fitting correctly.
The clamps definitely do not fit between the ribs. Saw a guy modify the clamps to fit but on mine I'm using one of the sliding seat brackets riveted to the bench to solve that problem. Gets the added benefit of being able to slide the seat to either side.
hello have same boat also, waiting for my 6hp 2stroke arriving tomorrow, I thought the swivel seat holders were too wide for the bench dividers but looks like they fit ok, which brand are those? Thanks.
OK, got the same boat. The seat base clamps out of the box will not fit this boat. As you can see in this video they are not clamped all the way down. However I was able to modify mine by re-bending in a vise with a large combination wrench for leverage.
hey man when you drilled in the paddle holders did you do anything special? like seal or glue or did you just drill it in? looking to add a dock cleat thanks for the dope vid
The key to all Hangkai 2-strokes is: first fill the lower unit with hypoid oil. Then run the outboard for a minimum of ten hours at variable speeds to break it in. The number one problem with these motors is owners don't bother to break them in properly.
@@openmindedillustrations7106 Admittedly, in increments, as standing there for ten hours is way beyond me! The goal is to seat everything and break in the rings, etc. And I never opened it up full throttle for any length of time, because that defeats the purpose of gradually breaking it in. And thanks for asking.
comments turned off on other video...why? I wanted to compliment you on a job well done and ask you about some things but a little hard to do with comments turned off!!!
Everyone has asked about the brand of swivel base for the seats that you used but you haven’t responded?? If you’re not going to share your ideas, then don’t post videos!
WOW, Sorry, there's no need to be rude! If you did a simple google search you would find it. I can post videos all I want. I don't remember putting "HOW TO" in my title. Take that shit somewhere else.
