I take mine on large lakes in wind. You bob around a bit, but I went yesterday and didn't have issues. Was on Lake Eustis in Eustis, Florida. Winds were 10-15 mph. Did stay fairly close to shore, but was in open water for a bit.
A good example of doing what you can to get maximum value on a minimum budget. I personally wouldn't fish from this particular kayak but that's because I'm 5'8" 265 pounds, my Jackson Big Rig groans every time I step onto it. Anyway, nice job and thanks for sharing.
It's only limit is your imagination! I'm a pretty lightweight guy (135ish) so I have a few more options than most with the 350lb weight limit. But, it's a fun little pond hoper for sure and beats bank fishing all the time. Thanks for the sub!

@@r.r.outdoors thanks a lot bro. It means a lot i will definitely do so. I will get it till the end of month. IYO is ok to use it just the way it is or the rudder necessary to install..wind worries me a bit more than waves..i think it's stable af
@@r.r.outdoors one more thing..were you able to stand and cast? i have read that it depends on your ability in general, but the producer states it's not suggested to be used that way. I guess it can be done being about 160lb and i am looking forward to use it partially that way.

Great job. Im 5'8" 200lbs and have done close to the same. I have my transducer mounted inside the front of the boat. That strange cup holder thing i actually cut part of the inside out. I have yet to have a problem with water getting into it. Looks good. You did well. The seat was the biggest deal for me. Have you flipped it yet?
