Peloton Bike vs Bike+ | Peloton Bike Plus Review 

I debated between the regular and the bike+. When examining the two, I feel the regular was better built. The extra $1,000 just was not worth it to me. I love my Peloton and ride daily.

Got the bike + today with free delivery, $350 off plus a $700 cash rebate on the trade in. Definitely a good time to trade in now, plus some free yoga and resistance schwag. Love all the features you mentioned plus I was picking at the logo today on my first ride.

I have the bike plus, my dad has the original bike, I think the plus is such a more enjoyable experience with the screen, speakers, auto follow, and resistance.

These bike pluses can be found for $700 to $1200 in the NY Metro area, and the standard ones can go for as low as $200. Going to grab one of these soon hopefully thanks for the comparison.

Good to know, we have been looking at getting a bike and may just go for the first version as it doesn't look like the extra $1000 is worth it. Being able to use our apple watches and having the bigger screen and better speakers would be nice, but not worth the extra $1000 for us probably.

You're right the Bike+ screen is more responsive because of the tech behind it. Bike has 2.0 GHz Mediatek MT8173 quad core processor vs Bike+ 2.5 GHz Qualcomm QCS605 processor. Also, Bike has 2 GB RAM whereas Bike+ has 4 GB RAM

Is getting a barely used Bike + for $900 a good deal? Previous owner bought it march 2022

I’m curious about the rental option. The different between the bike and bike+ is $30. What do you think? When you remove the subscription cost of $44 the actual rental price is responsible to me.

Was thinking about getting the Bike+ but the swivel freaks me out. Everyone knows that any moving parts with wires will eventually fail. It's been 4mo since this video, has there been any new opinions since then on the Bike+?

My wife and I were just at the store and all the employees suggested the regular versus the plus. Found that interesting. We ordered the regular. Will use that other $1000 on other things for fitness :)

I have watched a ton of this comparison video's and I cannot justify an extra 1k plus the membership, rather you can afford it or not, I just don't see enough of a difference. I can spend that extra money on improving the original especially being new to cycling I am a beginner.

Question: Do you use the Peloton shoes? Or did you get your own separately? Nike shoes are usually too narrow for me, but adidas and Brooks are fine. I’ve heard Peloton shoes run narrow. Is that true?

Bought the plus and glad I did

Purchased the Bike Plus back in June 2021. For the past couple of months I’ve been experiencing pedal crank noise & wobbly handlebar issues. I contacted Peleton tech support, sent them uploaded videos and I was told that replacement parts were going to be ordered and shipped directly to me, a third party vendor is going to contact me to schedule an appointment to replace the parts. Frankly, I didn’t spend nearly $3K for the bike & extended warranty to have a third party vendor come out to troubleshoot. I’m not too happy about that. It makes me feel like PELETON is no different than Nordictrack. So keep that in mind before you spend your hard earned money.

Can you use the samsung smart watch too?

Has anyone purchased one off of marketplace? If so, was it a positive experience?

So for cardio you are doing just one muscle, quads? And paying someone 40 usd each month for burning calories, ie losing energy. A first world issues...
