I feel like at this price point the classes should change the speed and incline of the treadmill as it goes and you have the ability to tone it down as needed if you have a hard time keeping up.
I'm super excited you've embarked on your fitness journey! It's one of the most important things you can do for your personal wellbeing. I work at OrangeTheory and am working on my personal training certification. I have always struggled with mental illness and for me, exercise was basically a cure for me. Started eating clean, started pushing for 3-4 days a week in the gym. It really helps align mind, body, and spirit. This is an awesome decision!
I currently do beach body on demand & that's one of the reasons I love it because you are alone but feel like you are working out with others. I've been looking into pelaton thanks for the video!
in real life, you don't need expensive equipment to stay fit. It's just a switch in your head, either you are at the point where you commit to your health or you are not. Good piece of equipment though as long as it is used on regular basis :) Good luck, iJustine ! will cheer for you !!!
Thanks for review. I was considering this but the $4000 price is bit too much. I could just get a regular treadmill for under $1000 and sign up for peloton digital classes for just $20 month though.
Apple should learn from this: That screen is exactly like an *iMac* , and it's touch screen - why not make an iMac that's touch screen to really go against the *Surface Studio 2* ? Just a thought.
I'm a windows fanatic here, my point was making actual upgrades to a computer that's cost to performance ratio isn't the best. The Surface Studio series is a very similar 2-in-1 in many ways including the size, marginally better specs and performance, the price, but it also has a touch screen. Apple needs too start selling real competitive products, with features that people honestly deserve for the premium price that they buy them for. MacOS also needs a better compatibility redesign but that's a whole different story :)

I ordered a Peloton tread a week ago and I'm waiting for delivery in January. Meanwhile I'm doing exercises to help out my right knee. I used to run everyday in the Army and I used to hate it every day but I want to give it a real shot again. I chose the Peloton for that slatted tread. I've tried running on slatted treads in the past and they tend to have the smallest impact on my knee. I figure that getting back into running and lifting a bit will help me get my weight back down. I'm 210lbs but at 6'2" is isn't too bad but i'd like to get it back down to ~170-180lbs. I also need to do something to improve my heart health. So I'm subscribing Justine. I've seen a few of your vids before but now I'm yours haha.

ahhh I LOVE pelaton and the family! I have the bike and it has changed my life. My family is planning on getting the tread when we have space and the budget for it but I can't wait. Pelaton has changed my life and, in the long run, is less expensive than a gym membership. Changed my life
If you have the space for it, the time, the effort, the motivation, then it is more than worth it. That treadmill should last a long time. Good review.
I have a feeling this is going to be a major cluster in the long term. If the treadmill does not hold up or there are a lot of glitches it's going to be a disaster. Considering they are not a service company dealing with treadmills is a totally different animal than a simple spinner bike.
I'm into triathlon. 49 years old ....50 next month!!!! My joints want a birthday present, so looking at getting them a treadmill. Thanks for your input. You are a ray of sunshine. :-)

TheMightyHarihar As long as she uses it a lot, it would be worth it. Investing in your health is the best investment you can make. She could get a cheaper one, but if this keeps her motivated then it is worth it. 🏃

I'm excited for the future too, Justine! Since Dec 1st, I've been exercising and eating much better. I need to go further with eating better but it's been a start though. My clothes are looser and I'm not stiff like I used to be. I don't only want to look good but I want my blood pressure and blood sugar to be at good healthy numbers and have low cholesterol. I look forward to more of your fitness/tech videos. I'd love to have a Peloton or a less expensive treadmill. lol I do mat work (crunches and leg work), weights, and cardio (exercise bike). In the future, I'd like to try other things too.
Thanks for the motivation for this out of shape triathlete. This 66 year old needs to get back to swimming, biking and especially running. Looks like Peloton has taken some of the dread out of dreadmills. :)
Peloton are scumbags. Trademarked the term, despite it being a basic word as far as cycling goes and threatened legal action against a youtuber for using it as a title.
My goal for 2019 is to get into a gym. Not only working out in a gym but also work in a gym. It's what I'm going to school for. I'm done in February. YAY! Me and treadmills don't get along because of my foot so I use an elliptical. I would love to see more fitness videos from you.

I placed an order for a Peloton in November, and I had the absolute worst customer experience that I've ever had with a company, I ended up canceling the order based on my experience.

I gained a lot of weight this year and gain back weight I lost as well. So i am going to try and get back in shape in 2019. I will be watching your vids for sure.

I prefer to run on a treadmill because I don't have to worry about getting runover from cars or random stray dogs chasing me. Last time I was running around my neighborhood, I almost got ran over and was chased by two big ass rotweilers that got loosed. It was the scariest moment of my life.
@@lotto5742 i run 70 miles a week and have been doing so for over a year and have never experienced anything like that. (I also live in a downtown urban environment) Sounds like you need to be more aware of your surroundings and not run on the road.

I love that you're so techy but your also so fit. I couldn't possibly. And all I do to "Work out" is go outside and look at things through my binoculars, or do PE.
I did karate for 9 years but I have scoliosis and wear on my knees so now it is too difficult and painful to keep up with martial arts. so i practice a little different tin in our training room.
Another great video Justine, my exercise is watching other people torture themselves, if you really want to get rid of large amounts of cash, go out into your garden, pile up the cash and set alight to it, it's a lot easier than joining an overpriced gym.
At $4,000, this is for gyms (as in those with paid memberships) and people who shit money. The good news is that it's a glimpse of the future, and these things will invariably trickle down into more affordable gear in the future.
