yes my black and silver fell apart in similar way & it broke in a conference infront of other people that was embarrassing, but my jinhao dadao 9019 is going strong and is now my daily writer after some nib tuning & i love its ink capacity.
I understand that. But I just decided to give up. I have the other two and the remains of this one went to a friend who is starting in pen making and this is useful for tests and experiments.
Yep Similar thing happened with me I have talk many others and jinhao management team and got to know the flaw behind it Its just that many batches black coloured jinhao x159 pens produced have this defect, they said they have fixed this issue I had similar problem, only with this pen, i hope it’s fixed now
A similar thing happened to mine, but my son had jumped on the bed where I'd put it, and I lost the crucial ring. 😞 But I used the clip to change the look of my 159 (non-X), and bought a new X159 with a Medium nib (which hadn't been available when I bought the first)
Sure. It is not a big deal. But I just want to be clear about this. And if I say that I really like the pen as a writing tool I also feel the need to alert about this issue. Fortunately it is inexpensive.
