Hi Julia, I was fascinated with your card project today, as I do something very similar (if not the same) but with watercolours on water colour paper. It is soooo fun to do. The best thing is that you don't have to be perfect, and it is best if you have white areas in your flowers. Julia, what inspired you to create your flowers this way? You are so right by keeping your hand loose as you draw the outlines, and a must to go over the lines several times. I usually allow my paint to dry like you before I doodle the outlines, but it can be done wet as well for a different look. This is the second time I've seen you use a 'smoosher', and I'm curious to know if you came up with the idea yourself recently, or saw it on another channel. NB cards has been using this technique for a long long time, and if you copied it from her, I'm disappointed that no credit for the technique was given to the original poster.
