Hi Rob. I bought a Parker 45 about a year ago. Excellent condition and in a Parker box. I spotted it in a branch of "The British Heart Foundation" charity shop. When I asked the lady the price she said "£2.99". I had to hide my excitement before telling her I'd take it! She also had a Parker Sonnet in a Parker gift box. I asked her about that pen and she said "£4.99". As you can imagine I bought them both. The Parker 25 is a nice pen. I bought one from eBay a while ago. I've heard many people dislike the barrel design but I think it works perfectly when posted. I love my Parker 25 and have had it inked up for most of 2022. I do enjoy Parker pens. The first fountain pen I ever bought was a Parker IM. I haven't used it for ages but it's decent enough. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better.
I have had 2 Parker 25 pens. I will admit I was very hard on them. It was a great pen that I used at work and a fountain pen that could be used when I made carbon copies or wrote on NCR paper to make multiple copies at the same time. I know I am dating my self with these references.
