Some people are saying the characters actually experienced the story's events twice. As in the chars experienced the story once without Misha appearing in the lobby at the start, then got defeated by Sunday, who threw them in Ena's dream in which they experienced the events of the story a second time (with Misha appearing in the lobby this time) and them defeating Sunday and having a happy ever after. Thoughts? I can't wrap my head around that.

Sunday developed the power of an Emanator thanks to the Stellaron which enhanced his powers. He says he does not want to resurrect Ena nor does he want to become an Aeon himself, he just deeply distrusts people being capable of knowing what's the best for them and others, so his solution is to become what's essentially a totalitarian dictator who will tell others on how to live their lives. He believes the weak will be incapable of ever becoming strong, so thus he must guide them so they avoid hurting themselves and others. He has a weird idea of on the one hand being realistic enough to understand that the world is unjust and unfair and it is a part of the nature of things, but also refuses to accept that it is also up to people to decide how to deal with that injustice, nevermind the fact that he doesn't acknowledge that he himself is fallible and may be wrong about what is the best choice in every situation. I found Sunday's writing to be very sympathetic, as he came across more as a person who became increasingly disillusioned with the nature of humanity and their aspirations towards being good people rather than being evil just because he could. He wanted power because in his mind it was the only way to save humanity from itself. It also seems to me that as long you have a strong will to follow a certain Path, that path will grant you power. Aeons are just embodiments of their Paths, or perhaps more accurately the distilled nature of their Paths, hence, as long as people believe in a Path, they can gain power from following that path. We for example don't know if Long is dead or alive and we know with certainty that Akivili is dead, yet the Trailblazers gain power of the Trailblaze and the Vidyadhara gain power from being disciples of Long as cloudhymn magic. Same is true for the Knights of Beauty following Idrila etc.
Imagine what if that the missing aeons are actually fighting a bigger threat outside the universe. Like Long, Akivili and Idrilla are the only aeons confirm missing and never got killed while other missing aeons are dead. Imagine they actually left the universe to go outside and deal with bigger threats which cut contact from the universe leading people to believe that long, Akivili and Idrilla are actually gone.
It was not just that. it was the 100k other members of the OAK family, the WHOLE of the oak family was the emanator with SUNDAY as the guiding consciousness.

And then, *vindication* ahahahahaha~

idk if it actually represents universal fear itself, but rather inadvertently instills it instead. the concept of having everything and everyone be meaningless and without purpose would definitely ruffle most feathers
@@treeckosaurus238 But to some, it can be extremely liberating. That's how the real world philosophy works anyway. The philosophy was never about pessimism. Interestingly in more recent years "optimistic Nihilism" has become more popular. It's a philosophy pushed by Kurzgesagt for example. But originally, true Nihility always meant to encompass the optimistic part of Nihilism as well. "If everything is meaningless, everything has equal meaning." Therefore if you can accept nihilism, you can dictate meaning and purpose for yourself.

i found ena and her lore FASCINATING. kinda sad we didn’t get to see her resurrected or see if she’s actually good or bad. the 2.2 story was great but there were quite a few discrepancies and things they could have built on imo. great video though dude! ^^
There is no good or bad for an Aeon. Its just mortal thingy that take these kind of believe just because the "idealistic" is too extreme for mortal to comperhend.
Aeons aren't bound by things such as "good" or "bad", they embody the very path they represent even the most extreme ones. The Aeon of Preservation would seek to preserve existence even if his followers are evil, the Aeon of Abundance will grant immortality to anyone who follows her even if they turn insane, and the Aeon of Order would seek to preserve order even if people are stripped of their rights as human beings
implying from the 2.2 ending, we might believe that Oswaldo Schneider is "Boss Alligator Stone" and is trying to get Asdana (penacony) again to the IPC. with all the paths complete in Penacony, it's time for the Annihilation Gang to finally step into the stage and we'll be doing the real Penacony Arc this time. the IPC Fleet is in Asdana's Orbit, and the Trailblaze has the beck and call of the Luofu Fleet, there will be an inevitable tension between all the parties.
Remember the IPC that is supposed to be about PRESERVATION, created that bomb that wiped out billions, we keep hearing stories about the IPC wiping out planets and peoples. Its almost like they have someone from DESTRUCTION in their ranks....similar to Phayntalia in the Lufo.
You said that Sunday wants to revive Ena or became Aeon himself which is not true, he himself said, that his plan is not to revive Ena or became an Aeon
The story contains a lot of deep logics and philosophies. People with different mind could have different understanding. To me, it is the choice between non-existing utopia and the non-perfect land of free. Suppose penacony is motivated from america, the story writters was showing their respect to the mayflower and founding fathers.
@TheGamerChronicles999 Great video. Thoughts on Acheron saying "They used the Stellaron to catalyze the leakage of Asdana's memoria into the material world, allowing the Dreamscape to blend with reality" To me this was indicating that we were "awake" in a sense. We did walk into the hotel physically and get a room. Evidenced by the fact that when we wake up it's in the room and not the express, but it was already blending at that point so the influence of the Dreamscape had already begun.
I was glad meeting Misha at the beginning was the "clue," because, after the revelation, I thought it didn't make since if I saw Misha as a doorman at the beginning in the real world.

My interpretation is that when aeons are absorbed they don't die per say but just you know become part of the greater idea. Ena isn't dead but a part of Xipe now and order exists as another aspect of harmony. They state that Sunday doesn't plan to become or resurrect an aoen but I think rather he wanted to awaken one, bring out and focus on this specific aspect thus disrupting harmony. Remember that the harmony's is still in penacony but it 's referred to as discordant. Believe what you want but this is the thought of a follower of enigmata.

First of all thank you so much for uploading, I've been incredibly puzzled by some of the events and you helped clear them out! But I still seem to miss the part about "dreammaster" mr. Gopher Wood, did he just disappear? I don't fully understand the scene with "dead birds". Also the fact of the future of Sunday. His current status is serious but not fully known. It wasn't confirmed that he died. I have a feeling he would come back in a patch or two. After all out of everything on Penacony, Sunday and Robin story still feels incomplete. More over their past and future. As for my experience...the quest was absolutely amazing. The amount of detail is truly one of a kind. I'm still grieving after Gallagher and Misha, even if they were made just to fulfil a certain task(s) they still were a huge part of many charcaters lives and stories. Our friends. Seeing the past messages from Gallagher, remembering the drink mixing event or Misha in the guest book is always ripping my heart apart. The battle was truly epic, they created this big juicy moment that really didn't last 2 minutes but had a full action sequence and story. It all felt so complete yet with missing parts in a way. But in a good way.
With Penacony getting close to, well, closing up, I can’t help but wonder … where to next? Well, thanks to Ena’s Dream giving everybody what they want, we were told “where to next” when we were determining the next destination in the Astral Express. Himeko wanted to go to Lushaka, the homeworld of Mikhail. Welt wanted to go to “Agate World” Melustatin, the site of a Stellaron Event, as well as the world where Beauty ascended. Black Swan wanted to go to the “Glass Belt” Patrevia, where the Lord Ravager Zephyro turned an asteroid belt into glass. And finally, Pom-Pom tells us about the Distress Signals coming from Edo Star, a planet currently fighting off the Anti-Matter Legion, with the apparent assistance of the IPC, causing the Distress Signal to be … less Distressing. No matter what you choose, Dan Heng and March choose Edo Star, while Himeko and Welt always support your decision. Considering this is Ena’s Dream, Himeko and Welt’s decision might be your wishes overcoming them. This leaves the clear possibility that Edo Star is our next destination! Plus, there are 3 other variables that supports this as well! 1.) the IPC are involved, and we’ve recently learned that Boothill is interested in learning more about Oswaldo Schneider, an IPC board member, as well as an Emanator of Preservation! Sounds like someone whose strong enough to fight off the Legions advances. So him being at the Edo Star is very plausible, this is why Boothill was on the Express, he wanted to come along, perhaps with knowledge that we’d somehow run into Oswaldo? 2.) We’ve heard of Edo Star from the assignments we send our Characters off to do, in it, we are introduced to a Galaxy Ranger, Loretta. With us meeting a Galaxy Ranger, why not continue the trend? 3.) Factions of Destruction, The Hunt, and Preservation, and who knows what other possible faction Edo Star possesses, indicates conflict to fight against, lore to discover, and a story to Trailblaze. Lushaka, Melustatin and Patrevia all have their own lore, no doubt about that, but there doesn’t seem to be much story to go over, their stories have already been documented as History, with Melustatin having severe potential for Aeon lore, it will very likely appear in the Simulated Universe. Same goes for Patrevia, being affected by an Emanator of Destruction, and Lushaka being a planet that the Astral Express once traveled to. (While Akivili still lived, I think? I might be getting the timeline wrong there.) So … where to next?
Correct me if I'm wrong but oswaldo isn't an emanator, currently confirmed the IPC has only two emanators diamond and Taravan. Oswaldo is a former nameless that's why boothill wanted to establish contact with us
My god i am very excited about all the choices. But in the anniv livestream QnA Shaoji said we will eventually return to xianzhou alliance story (the other hexafleets most likely, besides luofu). Cant wait to meet marshal Hua o7
@@anoynemous4464 oooooh, yeah, my bad! I remember hearing about IPC having two confirmed Emanators of Preservation, but I kinda forgot who the other one was. Well, Oswaldo being a former Nameless gives Boothill a very good reason to want to travel with the Nameless.
@@raystoner1250 well, the next destination should mark the beginning of 3.0, so we have 2.3 until then. We need to give the writers and storytellers of Hoyoverse a lot of time before we’re anywhere near close to traveling to a whole new world. 1.0-1.6 gave us 3 whole planets alone! Who knows what 2.0-2.6(2.7?2.8?2.9?) will give us!
i personally chose the melustatin because of The Beauty while Edo Star was quite interesting as well, I dont think the game and the devs will be returning to a planet with the same paths and aeons involved with the other earlier planets. To be more clear, I dont think the game would feature destruction (antimatter) and the hunt (loretta) in the game since its been already featured on hss and xianzhou if you look at the planet lineup, they all got diff aeons and paths to feature, hss got destruction and somewhat erudtion, belobog got preservation, xianzhou with hunt and abundance, and penacony being of course harmony and unexpectedly order. So it would be really nice to have the next planet focus on another path/aeon, especially if its one that is not part of the playable cast. On the following choices tho, my picks in order were 1.) Melustatin 2.) Mourning Actor planet 3.) Edo star (its space japan, of course id still wanna have it somewhat) 4.) Glass Belt 5.) Lushaka (it didnt really strike me as much since no aeons are involved and it being mikhails homeplace didnt really hook me that much) my opinions tho, sorry for the yap, the brainrot with this new lore was just too cool
Being honest. I like your theories to be honest. I do follow you mainly for theories you give on HSR because the Misha plot twist was really just something I was not expecting.

Something really interesting to me is the super heavy Christian imagery used for the Order. Sunday is a literal priest, an angel and eventually a seraphim. His battle is with sounds of choirs, a grand theater and a church.
I was starting to get suspicious about everything being a dream the moment that I saw and spoke to the origami bird in the hotel lobby in "reality." Misha was just the icing on the cake once we learned what he was.

You can still follow a path if the AEON itself has vanished, or been absorbed, or gone to sleep. They just say an AEON is dead as a shorthand. But Aeons never really die they just go into torpor if they are weakened.
I wonder if we'll get any information about the annihilation gang in Penacony since we're already fast approaching to our next planet after 2.3. I hope we get to at lease meet them if we find Sundays whereabouts or maybe they'll be set up as the next villain in a future planet...
I know im late but i would love if you made a video about the "everything was a dream part" because im still trying to figure it out From my understanding we experinced the story twice (kinda) first time was after the warp jump (no acheron cutscene and never met misha in reception) and we played through the exact same story all the way up until dominicus Once sunday transformed into dominicus we then instantly entered a dream NOT AFTER THE FIRST PHASE (kinda confirmed since that boss had half of the real boss's hp) In the dream of dominicus we entered Ena's dream. In Ena's dream we experienced the entire story (starting from the acheron cutscene at the warp jump) then we went to the reception where we met misha and everything happened as we know until we woke up from Ena's dream due to black swans help The things that make me think this is correct is that blackswan gave us an empty lightcone after the sam fight but it somehow recorded when we met misha which was much before that. Another thing that makes me feel this might be correct is that if meeting misha was in reality then realising that wouldnt have woken us up from the dream. I have a bit more details to add but i would like to get your opinion on this and i would be happy to show you all the other reasons i have but im still not 100% sure of the details.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around how the Ena Dream part worked, someone please correct/clarify for me. If we were in the dream the moment we entered the asdana system, does that imply that everything we’ve done in the story was just an illusion? The beginning scenes with Acheron in the dreamscape and the callback scene after Black Swan told us to wake up makes me assume that we’ve actually went through the events of the story twice-once for real, and then another when we failed to beat Sunday the first time, causing us to relive the whole story with Misha being the flaw. Or were we just trapped within a dream of a dream? If that’s the case, how would we have even reached Sunday when we were already trapped under Ena’s Order?? When we fight Sunday, is it still in the dreamworld or is it in reality???
Interesting is that when Harmony is truly achieved a kind of order is established as an almost natural process. But on the other hand Order itself doesn't guarantee harmony and too strict an order can cause disharmony. This is basically what happens in the story, the representatives of various factions banding together forms a harmonious whole, while Sunday's forced dream paradise created disharmony. This is also most likely how Ena fell to Xipe.
this does really make me wonder, could the creation of the trailblazer out of stelaron, which is related to the path of destruction, which was the original path of the trailblazer, part of elios script, be part of some grand plan to "revive" or bring back the aeon of the trailblaze? Kafka stated that Nous registestered Akivili as having an accident while Himeko refered to the aeon as deceased, probably knowing something, she was the one who found the train after all, it is also refered to Akivili as a THEY/THEM while other aeons have genders, could this imply the aeon to exist as more than a person, but a group or an iniciative, this makes me wonder about the whole "nameless" thing, which also brings Pom pom into question, when did it appear, why does everybody act like it was there already, and to finish it all, how is it that all the nameless are indivuduals of great mystery (himeko reincarnated, Welt carrier of Divine key, Dh being lizard, March being totally unknow, and the trailblazer being a walking bxmb, it really brings the question if all of them are key components to achieve something greater, awaken someone, all being already fortold, scripted or lived backwards...
I knew Misha was a vv important character so when I got him to E6, not willingly, I built him (some what usable) just in time to when his true nature was revealed.
Ironically, the Hydra organization analogy can be interpreted to symbolize the enigmata as Mythus represents a Hydrozoan such as the Turritopsis dorhnii. And even crazier is that Turritopsis dorhnii is the only known “real” species to be immortal. This perhaps even connects to “real” threats and rather than just “imaginary” or “quantized (infinitesimal)” threats as aeons are only “imaginary” threats.
As far as what ive learned from other lore channels, the Aeon and the Path are seperate things. The Aeon is like the master of the Path but its not necessary for the Aeon to exist for people to draw power from the Path. That's why Propagation, Longevity, and Trailblaze pathstriders are able to use their Pathstrider powers even though their Aeons are no longer alive.
An interesting detail I found after the initial Sunday fight, where he got hugged by Robin, is that in the English dialogue, Robin says "Brother, the dream is over" or something along the lines. However, in Chinese audio (yes, I chose Chinese due to low storage and other factors), Robin says "哥哥, 我开心了,“ which means "Brother, I'm happy now." I wonder why?
Didn't Sunday plan to use both order and harmony to achieve his dream. I'm pretty sure in the quest he states that he doesn't want to revive order nor become an aeon himself. Instead, he wants to use them together and achieve the perfect dream. This is why in his final attack during the boss fight, he uses Dominicus as a manifestation of order and touches Xipe's hand, employing the power of both aeons.
The hand was not Xipe's. It doesn't look like Xipe's hand. It's most likely hand of Ena that assimilated to Xipe. And not entirely true. Sunday didn't want to be aeon of order or harmony. He wanted to synthesize both and become a new aeon of both. Which he nearly succeeded in the boss fight as boss description says.
