I still remember those summar vacations when I used to visit Delhi to meet my father. She used to perform on Doordarshan, the only medium of entertainment those days available only in cities.!!! Peenaz Masani is an undisputed Princess of Melody holding the reigns of Gazals, light music, classic etc .without any fumble..!
She used to dominate the ghazal landscape during 80s. She is still one of my favorite singer. But do not know why she stopped being visible in mainstream music of today.

I was listening to her in 1980s, she is a talented artist with sweet voice and knows music well. God giver her many golden chances and a golden life. She is a Padmashree recipient.
Sad that these days she is only going to places like Raigarh or Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh to give concerts. She is out of the A-league circuit covering major cities. And Covid is not kind to artistes.
I remember watching this live and intrigued by her style and skill. I didnt believe as a kid she was singing it herself if i remember , but thought she was gorgeous.. now, just amazed
