But, he are not gonna stop learning anyway, so he may be better and better, just like you are being better and better, but he has an advantage cuz he started practicing first, him progress never has stoped, and he is some years foward than us.... I mean, we shouldnt use someone as objective cuz is like run with a car. We should use our drawings as objective.... (i was saying it for me, i need to relax about my progress....)

Ya I keep studying sometimes u realize u change drawing style and then u art come out bad I'm kinda already at this level it's just that I have a hard time making my own characters and making a design fo them it weird but eh...

Hey Kuzo and anyone reading this I'm not really sure where to ask this but I think this is an appropriate place. So recently I've come to the conclusion that for the past couple of months with my Art I've really not learned how to draw but how to copy, There's a pretty insane difference between when I copy something and actually draw something myself and I was wondering how I actually should teach myself how to draw and not copy. It kind of hit me so I've been a little demotivated cause I feel like I wasted a lot of time but yeah I'm just tryna see if I can actually get better at this so if anyone reading this has any advice I'd highly appreciate it, thanks.

If you are good at copying drawings, but struggle with drawing freehand, you should try timed practice or gesture drawing. Or you could generally practice pose mecanics and foreshortening. And you could try to copy a drawing, putting it away and then drawing the same drawing without reference.

Time my friend. you just have to be patient with yourself. Some people have visual minds and can imagine pictures to draw. Other people can't see pictures in their mind easily, and use drawing to fuel their imagination. Both are valid. For me, it works both ways. I can draw free handed easily but I use models and other relatable pictures to get what I have in my mind onto paper or digitally. I call myself the "Kakashi" of drawing😂. You got this man!

This is why I like your drawings. You don't need some drawing pencils like some artists show along with their drawings, and still managed to draw high quality art, which inspired me to save money and it's ok to just draw with what I have xD
