About:
Penelope Curtis is an art historian, writer and curator. Curtis explores how we encounter and interpret an artist’s work over time, using Poncelet’s practice as a case study. She considers art history from a personal point of view, paying attention to chance and circumstance, as well as changing contexts - firstly, sculpture; secondly, exhibition-making; and lastly, writing.
