Newborn babies who need intensive medical attention will be cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. The NICU provides 24-hour care to prematurely born babies and critically ill infants who require tightly controlled environments in which to receive treatments.
Bloom started with mom’s having a special place in their hearts for the NICU, wanting to find a way to give back to the place that cared for and saved their newborn babies. These moms cherish the NICU staff, their “Angels on Earth”, for providing them with a miracle and wanting to find a way to show their gratitude.
The conversation that began a vision… a vision which started our dream… and the dream which has become a reality… and one that is getting bigger and bigger each year!
