Thanks Craig! I bought Con Cam Mote from Paul about 15 years ago and used to really love it but once I discovered Paul Gordon's incredible Corner of Piccadilly I just sort of forgot about it! Maybe it's time for a second look! And for the record Corner of Piccadilly is the greatest Monte effect of all time! With Stand up Monte at number 2!

Electric card is interesting. Is also a sharpie that does the same thing but i can’t remember the name

Electric Sensation is stunning. No question. But I always try to put myself in the shoes of my viewer. Almost every good magician does this. And the 'problem' I see is that after this electrical contact, I would be incredibly curious about this card that caused it and would definitely want to examine it more closely. But of course that is not possible. Even if you have a good command of audience management, in my opinion this remains a major shortcoming. I also find it difficult to replace the card because the heat is exactly on this card.

What I really dislike about Con Cam Monte is the fact you (can) never show more than 1/4 to 1/2 of the queen. Yet people see the full faces of the 8”s. If it were me I wouldn’t wonder or want to look at the card Uber my finger. I would want to see the pack. With Skinner’s monte you pretty much see the full faces of each card.. without have to side spread to show a fragment of the card
