I love this video, I live in the south now but was raised in Central PA. I bleed Blue and White! I was at the Temple game in 2009 with my dad. He passed in March 2010. Miss going to games and miss going to them with my dad more.
Penn State football damn I cant wait for the season to start, ever since I was a kid semptember was the biggest month of the year. There is nothing better in all of sports than being at beaver stadium for a football game. I love college football.

Saw Rob play today and I have to say, he better be starting against bama. He has great pocket precence and one of the quickiest releases I've seen. Coming junior yr we will be talking heisman with this guy.

@psufreshman10 the d line also has ogbu and crawford comin back, which is good considering the loss of maybin and odrick. the key on the oline is gonna be wesniewski (sp?) which is amazing cause he topped the lineman awards watch list last year and this year should be no different
@TheCadet37 To be fair, I made the 4-8 (1-7) prediction in the preseason and held to it until Penn State beat Minnesota. Then I knew this team had the extra something to salvage at least a 6-6 (3-5) season. I think we beat Indiana and go to a bowl game now. I was impressed at how Penn State played versus Michigan, though.
How is Penn State always fundamentally sound every year? How do they always execute every play? Is it coaching, recruiting, or anything else? They always win bowl games too. How are they so sucessful every year?

@BassAssassin9 I hope you're right, but I'm NEVER wrong when I wanna be. I'm just scared about the fact that we don't have a QB (we essentially have a Rashad Casey/Matt Senaca situation all over again, with Paul Jones as our young Zack Mills), linebacker is a big question (how many decades since we said that?), our secondary and offensive lines lost their best players of units that weren't that good. However, I honestly think that this year is going to be a fluke and in 2011 we should be great.
@bigedz80 I hope you're right actually, I see Penn State going 4-8 (1-7) myself, and I'd be THRILLED if PSU won enough games to make it to a bowl game. Even 3-9 isn't out of the queston this year. I'm praying that I'm DEAD WRONG about my prediction, but I'm usually right (last year everyone drooled over Illinois, but I said they'd win three or less games, and I knew that we would be really good last year). Hey, if your prediction pans out, that'll sure beat the hell out of mine.
@BassAssassin9 Well, there's always Indiana. I don't think the Hoosiers are as good as people think. Ohio State creamed them 38-10 (it was 31-0 at halftime), while Illinois played Ohio State down to the wire. The Indiana game is a de facto home game and as bad as Penn State is, I just can't see them dropping that game. The good news is I think what we saw Saturday is the worst we'll see Penn State play all year. Remember, we even beat Indiana in 2000, 2003, and 2004, sadly, that's just one win.
@BassAssassin9 I hate to be the guy to say it, but I saw the writing on the wall from the preseason. But this PSU team is even worse than I expected. Freshman QB is part of it, he can't spread the field like Clark to soften up defenses, so our O-Line troubles become more glaring. I knew that our front seven would see a drop, exposing our secondary. Injuries are also piling up. Biggest thing is this team seems to lack fire. I wanted to be wrong, but it looks like I was right and we're going 4-8.
@pennstate2612 BOLDEN PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASE, dont make us watch Newsome play scared for 6 weeks until you decide to put the best player on the field.
@CamilloLB54 Yeah maybe Alabama might win another title but there's going to be a 1 loss that'll upset their perfect season. Why? Penn State beat them.
@weneedheroesnow yeah why not! alabama is the national champion so everybody things that the crimson tide are the team to beat in this season! alabama is a very good football team but i think penn state as a little underdog can beat bama!!! thats a part i hate in football! a team won the championship and everybody think that this team will dominate the next season too! i hope erverybody understand what i mean^^ Linebacker U yeah!!!!!!
