I agree, it's a great backing track, but couldn't you video tape yourselves playing so I can see who I'm playing with? For the most part, we're not taking advantage of what You Tube really offers, which is the chance to Jam with Musicians from all over the World. Playing along with chord charts or whatever is not the same as being able to see and react to what the guitar and bass are doing. It's only a bare third of the Information we all need. I've been playing along with Jamey Aebersold Play Along's for about 40 years now and it is Old Tech. It's also very Lonely and Isolating. I live in America and the hardest thing is to find good Musicians to play with. Specially playing Jazz Violin. Most are no longer familiar with Django or Steph, they don't know how Influential they were to Bebop, and they can't really relate to what I play because they are not used to hearing a Violin play Jazz.
