How fabulous to walk through Hannah's meadow. I remember watching the documentaries about her - what an amazing lady she was. Will watch the video later - thanks for putting up the link. I've recently just re-read the book. Another excellent day walking and what a beautiful area.
Hannah seemed as if she was a lovely person by all accounts. One very strong and tough cookie! When she passed just a few years ago it would have been the end of an era. So nice that the wildlife trust has continued on with her traditional farming methods. I need to sit down and watch the documentary itself. I have to admit, that I knew nothing about her until I hiked the Pennine Way.
