This is pure gold. Thanks for sharing! This must be before the recording of Unknown Road when Jim took a break from the band. Fletcher said that the music was written for UR before they brought Jim back and this was going to be the intended lineup.
I actually dig Jason's voice but I don't love his stage presence. Jimmy owns that shit & always has. I knew this was a thing with this lineup , either Fletcher or Jimmy talked about it on a interview with Toby from H2Os page. Jason also sings on 2 songs on the word from the wise album. Very interesting RIP Jason Thirsk
This is crazy. I’m a real real PW fan and never knew this was a thing! Damn. At first I was like damn Jim’s hair is dark and he’s jumping around lol Glad I stumbled across this.
#Jason #Thirsk is alive in 1993 this is not a tribute. This is the original BASS GATARIST. #BASS RIP JASON THIRSK best Bassist for Punk Ever in my book. Right next to Primus!
awesome.RIP JMT. funny that theyarecovering minor theat (which would later be done on 'live at the key club') considering the hardcore partyers that these guys were.
I remember that stage guy that worked the Whiskey with the NoFx shorts. He used to work the Country Club also and Las Palmas theatre. What's his name and is he still around?
I was at that show. One of my buddies got caught with a joint and was kicked out. Then security guards came back inside with him to look for me and another buddy. We ended up being caught but to our luck the security guard was Brazilian and heard us speak Portuguese and just because we shared the same nationality he let us go back in. Crazy times. Pennywise was actually good at the beginning. I can’t stand their music anymore.
@Leandro Salem Opa. Blz? Sim... nessa época eu vi eles algumas vezes. Eu esse show ficou marcado na memória pelas tretas que rolaram e a polícia que encerrou o show.
Holy shit this is awesome, hadn't come across this before! Also is that Randy Bradbury on bass before he was an official band member? It sure looks like him and if so he's hardly changed a bit!
It is him. He actually joined the band during the Unknown Road period (this one) and played bass on the album. A bit after he left the band. When Jason went to rehab in 96' he came back and took over bass duties and was supposed to switch to rhythm guitar when Thirsk returned.
@@cosmicsoul7773 Who were the punk gangs fighting? I just remember the SGV Unity crew from the 90's. I'm just curious if you remember what crews were fighting.
