Definitely some golden nuggets in this video. Especially if you're a designer who needs to update their website copy. Listen!

Why is each camera angle a different colour cast? Especially the wide shot of all four of them!

They brought up a good point it's like calling someone smart over and over again makes the person think that they have to be smart and if they are not their self-worth decrease since then they hold themselves up to such high standards

Why does their conversation seems so fragmented. It feels like they are in a rush, need some breathing space

I agree, I feel like the interviewers maybe couldn't keep up with the depth of this conversation...it was a bit awkward but also some great information and wisdom lol!

Please, Adobe. Enable subtitles to be understood in another language.

Natasha said the word "creative" is problematic because designer are called creative. And creative giving an ideology implying they are not strategic-which I totally agreed-but yet she called herself graphic designer at the beginning and that outdated title is problematic already.

The constant demand for CHANGE. Novelty for its own sake is not necessarily a good thing. With the speed that we are now readily able to access information and eye candy people are trained to have a short attention span and a low threshold for boredom.

She just called creativity, vague. 12:47 WOW. I am a creative person... without creativity we wouldn't have beautiful Buildings, Cars , Bikes , Huge ships ,etc. back then there were no "designers" but still there were beautiful usable products, tools back then people didn't even knew they were designing, it was their Intuition I know designers are Ass***** especially the ones who attended Design schools I mean the real work is done by the Engineers on Apps , cars , Websites they don't brag about credibility but these Designers do. _I agree with her other rants about "designers use big words when it can be framed in a simple sentence"_

The interviewer Paul Trani alarmingly tried way - too many times to do a value-check and identification with the Pentagram crew. Definitely ruined this wonderful interview, as both Brooke and Paul seemed in a super mood to talk and give insight. Maybe get some insight for a good interview methods and questions from Higher Resolution youtube series. Thanks for doing it though, thoroughly enjoyed seeing Brooke and Paul vibe and share their opinions.
