Been working my way down your Pentatonix Playlist and finally reached this one down at the bottom, very happy you did end up reacting to this. I think this is a terrific cover, the only “complaint” I heard from two different reactors is that Freddy’s energy apparently was much more intense than Mitch’s calm and easy vocal lead. Other than that all reactors I have watched have nothing but great things to say about Pentatonix’s awesome cover of this song. I also want you to know from a few other previous reactions you have done that I greatly appreciate you reminding us Pentaholics there is no need to say which a capella group is “best”, Home Free has their strengths and approach to their music as does Pentatonix. We need to simply enjoy both of them for what they are offering us ❤. Thanks for all your reactions, I am hereby officially requesting “Say Something” by Pentatonix, Kirstie is the featured soloist. The song is very somber so you need to be prepared for that but the subject matter is something we can all relate to thus making this cover by Pentatonix “devastatingly beautiful”. If you end up reacting to this video I’ll be curious to see if you agree……

This must have been hidden away to have so few views. Absolutely love this cover. Mitch is amazing, Kirsty and Scott doing the backing music is amazing and Kevin and Avi with the beatboxing are amazing. Pentatonix are simply the best.

Brian May is actually Dr. Brian May. He is an astrophysicist. His PhD thesis a survey of radial velocities in the zodiacal dust cloud" was published in 2007 and is a popular astronomy book of the same name. He started his research in 1970 and then stopped to run around the world in this rock band named Queen. Maybe you've heard of them maybe you haven't I had to Google them. That's sarcasm. The megaphone in a prop. Mitch does not use it in the live performances. the voice you hear when they're looking at the stars is the same voice Mitch uses with the megaphone . The shot at the sky is homage to Brian May. Brian May was so impressed with the video that he posted it on all of his social media sites. The part where Mitch is lying down on the couch and Kevin and Avi are walking beside it are to represent the pallbearers carrying Freddie's coffin . The shot at the end when they're looking up at the sky always puzzled me because there are four shooting stars and I always wondered about that because there are 5 members in PTX. I read in a comment that it's an homage to Queen because there are 4 members in Queen. At least that's how I interpret the shooting stars. The moving couch pays homage to how they started. They worked on this song for five or six years to get it where it is right now. There are videos of live versions of Bohemian Rhapsody. You are the first reactor that mentioned how the panning is the same as it is in the original. And I have seen many many many reactions to this video. There is a behind the scenes video for Bohemian rhapsody. Every so often Pentatonix will do a behind the scenes video

Since no one has said yet, Sir Dr., Dr. Sir? Brian May posted this to his social media account when it was released and said, simply, enjoy. The 4 stars at the end, are a tribute to the 4 members of Queen, and Brian May’s PhD in astronomy/astrophysics.

I don't think you've reacted to Pentatonix 'The Recording of Evergreen'. I think you would LOVE IT! It's a behind the scenes look at how they recorded that album.
