They just released a new one “Amazing Grace” this week and it is HEAVENLY. And yes they are an a capella group, the only time they use instruments are when you actually see it in the video (the beatboxer also plays the cello).

They can perform all their songs completely live!! They do not use instruments apart from occasionally when the Kevin (the guy in the middle) plays his cello and beatboxes AT THE SAME TIME! They are super talented and have lots of albums. They have just released a cover of amazing Grace from their new Christmas album (they have 5 Xmas albums including this new one!) which is out on November 13th. I've always, from childhood, loved this song (I'm 60 yrs old, btw), and this cover blew me away in 2012, when this video debuted. Fell hard for Avi at this time, too!😂

If you like Avi's deep voice, you need to check out Love Again, it is one of their originals. And then of course the three Grammy Award winning videos, Daft Punk, Jolene, and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

They have multiple albums of Christmas songs, including a couple original songs, all done a capella like this one. They are mostly religious songs, but also there are other Christmas songs & a few winter songs & a few songs that have become associated with the Christmas season for one reason or another. Just a few of my faves besides Little Drummer Boy are: That's Christmas to Me (original), Mary Did You Know, White Winter Hymnal, O Come All Ye Faithful (they made it a bop!!!), Joyful Joyful (as done in the movie Sister Act 2), Hallelujah, God Only Knows, & their release just a couple days ago of Amazing Grace/My Chains Are Gone. It's apparently from their new Christmas album about to be released. It's so good! A couple of reactors I saw do reactions to it even started crying because they were so moved by the performance.

First: you are now a Pentaholic(Pentatonix fan). Second: Due to the time of year checkout other Christmas songs like Mary Did You Know, That's Christmas to Me, well all of the Christmas albums are great and they won about 3 Grammy awards so far, one for a Christmas song. And I would suggest looking for search of Pentatonix and do a few in chronological order so you can see how the group has evolved.

Don't react to Amazing Grace unless you are one of the religious right. Alot of us do not believe that we are wretched sinners and reject the entire concept expressed by the song particularly at Christmas time.
