Lovely interview! You could see how honored they were when she was talking about her singing their stuff in the car. You could tell they were all imagining HER voice to those songs. Gosh, I adore these 5 (self-proclaimed) choir nerds!

They really are the embodiment of perfect harmony! Love them all so much! I just saw them a month ago and I get to see them again next month for their Christmas show!

For sure! People who limit themselves to only their christmas stuff is missing out on some of their best stuff! Glad they are good at least at sneaking in non-christmas stuff on their christmas albums. The big one with Hallelujah for sure, but lots of good "Not christmas" on there. Sweater weather, my favourite things, when you wish upon a star just off the top of my head. And their new cover of Kiss from a rose!

Awe not Scott talking about Avi. Kirstie Mitch and I grew up together. Our bass was through a mutual friend(Avi), Kevin we found on RU-vid and Matt through Ben Brahm our arranger.

Has anyone been here since before “Pentatonix” was “Pentatonix” aka 13 years ago when the trip uploaded “Telephone” on Scott’s RU-vid channel? Also I may be wrong but Scott finding Kevin on RU-vid may be one if not the first example of someone meeting online reaching out and meeting in real life and becoming long time friends. Since they met 2010-2011 and Vidcon which also started in 2010 which helped RU-vidrs meeting each other.

They don't have the rights to talk much about him in promotional content, contractually. They mentioned how they found him in passing when talkking about the origins. But what should they say about him more? It's been half a decade. He's not "relevant" to them promoting and upcoming tour and album.

Why must they continue to talk about him? At this point Matt has been in the group just as long as Avi and will soon be a member linger than he was. People never seem to get upset that Avi doesn't mention pentatonix. If it weren't for them people wouldn't even know Avi.

Kirstin* and yes it's her. There are many reasons but first of all she's now a grown woman and mother, she uses fillers on her lips (very open about that) and loves playing with different makeup looks (often overline the lips and such)
