Don‘t get me wrong all 5 are crazy talented, but holy sh*t Matt sound like a CELLO, when I hear it the fist time I thought Kevin plays the cello! Matt is so good in his bass and singing voice. And Kevin wow like a drump set is he a human? Are they all Humans?🔥
I'm reminded of something Jon Baptiste said in an interview, that 'scat' was just trying to sing like an instrument. PTX does that in spades. Matt is starting to do a lot more percussion with his bass, and Kirsty does an incredible background on this, while not taking a lead. Everyone in PTX are so damn good that they have no problem allowing the lead to just slide between them between songs. This is their most 'personal' album, and really show how good they all are, in interpreting each other's original songs.
The whole Lucky Ones album is a masterpiece! This is a totally new and exciting direction for them. ALL the songs are originals and they are all brilliant. All killer, no filler!! They are admitting to now using more vocal effects on their recordings (which are obvious in this song), but it doesn't take away from anything...in fact it adds to it. These are not the kids from the Sing Off anymore. They are all mature adults now and are starting to produce music that reflects this. I'm already to looking forward to what's next for them. And as for Kirstie, she is ALL OVER this album. She wrote or co-wrote more than half of the songs and takes the lead on several of them, including Be My Eyes, which is ALL her lead.
Scott is my absolute favorite, so I always love the Scott appreciation! His voice is always the one I listen for and hear the most no matter what song! 😍 loved your reaction so much. You should totally check out some solo work from Scott like Wake Me Up, I Should Tell Ya Momma On You (you get a BIG surprise), All To Me (with Shoshana Bean), Lose Us (with Rozzi), and Lost On You (with Mario Jose). You can’t go wrong with BUTTER SCOTT!! 💙💙
Yes, this is simply outstanding and you forget that it is acapella! Everyone did their thing here but Matt and KO just KILLED THIS. Watch again and try to focus just on the bass line and beatboxing. It’s freakishly good. Thanks for doing this one!

Gotta put this out there in the universe...If we as a people could be more like PTX as a group our world would be a much better place. Now let me clarify...here it is..They have different races, religious beliefs, male, female both empowered, differing sexual orientations, and with these differences they can come together to create pure joy and harmony with their music.. This is my favorite song on their new album! Nobody can rock a pink suit like Scott! I think I’ve seen at least three variations of a pink suit in his videos on Superfruit. He looks so handsome. They all look great! Great reaction. New sub. ☺️

Schnell your bright green blouse woke me up at first sight!! I thought I had mistakenly clicked on a BTS video LOL. This PTX performance was awesome as it improved my mood a lot. I watched your most recent reaction to Angelina (Million Miles live in studio) a couple more times and loved your observations so much. If anyone reading this has not watched that reaction yet, then you absolutely need to.
78 yr old composer-jazz pianist (a la Bill Evans). Award winning classical composer, but also jazz pieces-vocal and instrumental. I wrote a piece for PTX that I gave to each member on 7-3-19 at VIP at the Tacoma Dome. Scott, Kev and Matt promised enthusiastically to listen to the piece, but no word from them. I don’t blame the group, but I think their handlers kept the music from them ( CD sheet music in two keys, notes and other material). Oh, well... that’s my story you asked for.
You should also check out “Thank You” by Pentatonix. Scott co-wrote it with his partner and takes the lead on it. Super heartfelt message and a beautiful song.
The entire new album is amazing. You should definitely react to the other songs. My two favorite are exit signs and never gonna cry again. Both are so unique and hard hitting emotionally. Hope to see more of your reactions to them! This was so much fun thank you.

Please please check out their crack at "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" Clearly everything they do and have done is awesome, but this is special in many ways. Kirsten really gets to shine, Matt works absolute miracles with his baseline throughout, and of course Mitch sneaks a, lil sumthin special in there. It is from a couple years ago, but I know you will love it!
If you want to hear some good Scott, listen to the original he wrote with his boyfriend called Thank You. It’s a Christmas tune but reflects on the past year and PTX use piano and cello
A very catchy one indeed! I love the super-quick beatboxing (apparently effortless) from Kevin in this one, as well as the super quick beats from Kirstin and Mitch. Obviously adored omnipresent Matt also I believe they use extra voice-layers in the background to allow a Kirstin and Mitch melody while they're singing on the front. See you in the next one
Honestly the singing is what most people wouldn’t know about me, I don’t really make that public knowledge (in my personal life I should say lol). And this group is just other worldly their talent is unmatched! Awesome video my friend! All love ❤️

You're so much fun listening to your reactions. Strangely, I just learned that you did a Home Free cover with Don Mclean and just watched it...boy that was incredible. At my age, this was the most iconic song of its time. I thought it was a wonderful choice of Home Free to do that cover with him...and BTW, he still sounds incredible and I was emotionally involved. Interestingly, I just listened this week to another Pentationix song from a 2015 live concert (Toyota Oakwood Arena at Wallingford UK) where Avi sang "Standing By"...it nearly brought me to tears mainly because I miss Avi singing the lead (lyrics were so poignant along with GREAT backup vocals (even though Matt is the perfect replacement who was recommended by Avi). This has truly been a nostalgic week...I would LOVE it if you could do a reaction to that cover !! Thanks

reposting from your aurora video to this most recent video. liking and subbing-- found this in my recommended feed mainly because i watch a lot of music reactions and secondly because of Aurora. as for the question... i like raw emotion mixed with a good beat. i like different artists for different reasons tho. for k-pop its a combination of good beat, interesting mixes of rap and pop or rap and metal along with good coreo. i just had a look through your videos and let me suggest some k-pop if you ever decide to branch out into that genre. g-idle (anything but favs are dumdi-dumdi, put it straight {nightmare ed}, and Yuqi's cover of Shallow, Exo (monster and obsession), Dreamcatcher (scream and boca), Ateez (thanxx and wonderland), Red Velvet (peek a boo), you can't go wrong with just about any BTS or Blackpink (huge followings)
