@JOEL VARGAS if you want more speed put a smaller rear sprocket if you want more torque or faster acceleration larger rear sprocket .....the quicker way to increase top end speed would be to put bigger tires on every inch you go up in tires size is equivalent to 2 teeth on the rear sproket
Mine is a monster and wants to pull wheelies even in 3rd.* It could take 2 more gears, but it's marketed for novices, and people would die on them frequently. *The only gripe I have is the tie rods are shit, and the bushings on all tie rods and ball joints are shit.* The stock headlight bulbs are trash, and the carb wants a lot of choke monkeying around until the engine is blistering hot, so my carb will get replaced sometime this summer.
5 inch spacers?? Man I gotta see this. If you have Instagram find me @tattedad! Also been chatting with the owner of the Pentora. There may be some modifications coming soon!
@@tattedadvadirtslingers5437 just followed you and subbed I'll be looking forward to keeping up with your pentora mod videos check mine out in your dm's.
@@tattedadvadirtslingers5437 thanks bro. Btw, have you also this screw near throttle that limits the speed? If so did you remove it and was it big difference?
I realized that this quad has the exact engine of the Honda crf230f dirt bike. It must be a clone. Do you think a carb from this bike would fit on the pentora?
I'm always very cautious when it comes to buying cheap China off-road things like this now because I bought 250cc dirt bike from a very known supplier that sells high-quality clones with good feedback and the bike only lasted 5 months before it stopped working completely. But For a China quad it seems like it has a good decent amount of power where did you purchase it ? And is it still holding up?
@@tattedadvadirtslingers5437 How is this quad holding up since you had it? I'm looking to get something like this just to mess around with in my backyard we have two acres of land
@@andre26261095 if you want something to rip around on in the backyard for a good price, I suggest an ssr srq250w2 I've had one for almost 4 years and it's been holding up really well with normal maintenance. It's not as good as a name brand but DEFINITELY a billion times better than any other Chinese brand.
I was debating between buying this Pentora or going used .........for around the same price older Polaris predators 500s are available or just name brands with a lot more cc......what do you think?
To me the Pentora is a good bike for someone starting off that wants to see if they would be into riding without breaking the bank. If you are already comfortable riding a quad I would buy used name brand.
Nice video bro I got the same just different name, called Viarelli. Do you know the top speed of this? Another question, I drive mine very rough and offroad aswell, but last time it seems that 3rd gear isn't as it used to be, I was max reving it without driving fast, all other gears is normal. You have a clue what that could be? I'd say before I would have driven way faster before I had to shift up to 4th.
People are clocking theirs at about 45 tops on flat pavement, but I fly up the ass of cars on roads no one is doing less than 40, and I'm a 200 pounder. *It could eat through 2 more gears easily, but it wants to pull wheelies even when I shift into 3rd, and people would die on them. The choke is also a PITA that steals power unless the bike is blistering hot, so I will replace the carburetor at some point, but as I am making known, the tie rods are shit, and the bushings for those and everything with a crown nut are junk. Stock headlight bulbs are a joke, but otherwise, it's a lot of bike for a beginner; probably too much.
@@jondeth298 i installed a sick light bar (12k lumen!!!) ON it. Crazy! The problem with the rev was the valves fixed it aswell. Also installed led xenon bulbs on it. My problem has been steering. Always pulled a bit to one side and that made me be afraid to go really fast. But now it seems i found the issues and it is the bushing to lower front right axle. Lets hope i can now fully enjoy it.
@@jondeth298 and btw 45 mph only? Mine goes way faster. Is your also 250cc? And did you remove the speed screw adjuster? Because tjat screw made alot of difference
@@andreas6081 mine had to at least be hitting 50 with how fast I flew up on cars during winter. Nobody does less than 40 on that road. My alignment is still funky after the last few days, so I still had shaking when I opened it up today. I need to replace all the bushings in general, and upgrade my tie rods. The engines are 230cc, but it's billed as a 250 by model name. It could literally eat right through 2 more gears out of the box. If I still have shimmy after I'm happy with alignment, I'll deal with balancing the tires. Speed wise after opening up my air intake and installing a glass pack muffler for a car, I get lift punching it in 3rd. I want to put a larger sprocket on it to increase top speed, and at least limit wheelies to 1st and 2nd. I'm 200lbs and it wheelied and flipped on me. *I think it's a really bad ass machine, with a lot of imbalances that will cost about $300 to eliminate; that's cheap for what it is overall.* The choke on the carb needs fussed with until it's really hot, so it's on the list of dislikes and future modifications.
The pentora and a few other Chinese brands is fine for a good bitta fun..... For the price and look after them...... Unless your taking it seriously and an endless amount of money buy a yam or Honda......
@@finisher8783 brand new in the crate - go back and wAtch my first review video, you will see the website we used and the cost difference if you buy it assembled vs not assembled.
That’s awesome! I think my GPS app on the GoPro is off. I tired it with the drag bike I was racing and it only said I was doing 50 when really I did like 80 lol
We still have the factory carb on it. I’m not sure what a good replacement would be. I’ll do some research and see. I’m thinking finding a carb from a Honda or Yamaha. I just need to measure the stock carb
