Pliz watch this episode n review ur performance I demand better of u from it sir, be patient bcuz Babylon is still going to make u feel the heat 😉 ask all active ppl how hard it is on the sidelines n learn from them but stop giving them credit otherwise I will throw a fruit at you n break my screen
Saying Rotando is naive is so heartbreaking. Can you imagine the youth listening, if they think fighting big battles is a losing battle, we'll never get our land back, we'll continue living in shacks, our resources wil continue being looted, and our people will never be liberated. Most High have mercy and give us the boldness to continue fighting for our liberation in our economic, spiritual, religious, emotional and every other brainwashed mindset. Rotando needs our support and protection, MH protect and favor him always, and raise more Rotando's, especially in SA.
Yeah saying he us naive was too much, He even said "It is cute" I almost stopped watching. I could tell Rutendo got touched when he said that too. This wasn't a great interview from Pen.
This really really broke me and made me upset. In other words, he worships the system of oppression because, in his own understanding, it's impossible to break! He's as complicit and a big sellout in regards to that! Basically, he's discrediting any type of revolution toward the system.
I am only happy that there are individuals who where able to pick this up and say something. It serves no good if you call on someone to educate the youth but then call them naive infront of the same youth u wanna educate, its just pure foolishness
I couldn't believe my ears when I heard him saying Rotando is naive. Try and fail, but never fail to try, that should be the spirit. I'm very disappointed at Penuel but it's a reminder that you can respect the person until they open their mouth then you realise they're not what you thought they were.
He truly acted like big bro n not embarrass Pen, bcuz our G was skating on ice like a headless chicken but its part of learning thats how ppl grow n get better
Salute if he was ANC politiacians would have used the opportunity to send Pen to the cleaners luckily he is a decent man otherwise Pen's performance was just suicide on this left me very frustrated
Yeah big shout out, it was very uncomfortable there by naive and stuff.. but he held back coz he knew his response was going to kill him completely. Salute!
Great conversation... Zimbabweans are highly intelligent and articulate. The seeds situ is something to take very seriously as they pushing that on Kenya. Where they see development, they attack. Like brother said they 5 steps ahead of people who don't think like brother Rutendo.. bless up to you both
Please bring this Man back,he is a thread to the establishment. As a South Africans we have not fought coloniality and that's why we are in this situation.
Dear Penuel you can always invite Rutendo back again and again, please give him time to elaborate and explain his answers. Because he is too much interrupted
...man I was excited to see this man is back cause there's so much wealth of knowledge and experience. Dissapointed in how this great conversation developed...man Pen just let the man speak.
It's unfortunate that Rutendo was prevented from speaking about a lot of issues, I was very keen to hear about the issues pertaining the Economy and also a follow up on the last episode especially with the Congo war now on the verge of starting again and especially with what seems to be a repeat of the 2000s war where Zimbabwe intervention saved Congo and I wanted to hear what has been the take of Zimbabwean government with regards to the issues he raised about governments allegedly funding instability in the Congo ,I heard him mention about that but he was not able to go in detail and wanted hear about Chris Hani's killer's parole and also other issues ,Perhaps Penuel should allow guests to flow and communicate to us the listeners yes Penuel is very knowledgeable but it would have been good to hear a lot of issues there was a lot of interjections from Penuel and Rutendo was not able to dwell deeper into the issues for example seven companies that controls the JOHANNESBURG Stock Exchange and wanted hear a lot about the seeds ,GMOs and especially with Kenya now allowing GMO's in Kenya and wanted hear about the Agra organization and it's conference that happened in Rwanda amongst other issues. The other issue is if Rutendo comes back can he please speak on Blackrock and other companies that runs the world.
This content is unmatched! When I grow up, I want to be Rutendo Matinyarare. We need him on the show every week. Props to Penuel for engaging with terrible exactness. Love it.
He's so amazing.. This is my second time watching him. Kudos to you Penuel for bringing him back. With love from Uganda. His thoughts relate very well with our reality too up North.
Mr. Rutendo Matinyarare. You are very powerful. you inspired me on this dialogue. I want to become more like you. Thank you for this knowledge. We will use it to develop ourselves Thank you Penuel for this great heavyweight Episode. You are killing it on the Penuel Show.
@Penuel,thank you my brother for the schooling you are providing on this platform. Please give your guests a chance to express themselves, do not disturb them because some vital points get lost during such.
One of the biggest tragedies in the “post colonial” period (I use this term very loosely) is that these conversations should have happened decades ago. But in all fairness the locus of education was primarily held at places of higher learning, academic conventions, and etc. As a result people at the grassroots were largely on the outskirts of engagement on these important topics. Social media has really played an important role in reducing this gap, and kudos to you Pen for taking the initiative and forming a platform where we can listen, learn and ask questions. This segment briefly touched topics that require a more comprehensive discussion and perhaps each could be addressed on separate segments. Possible topics for discussion: - The challenges facing African ownership of factors of production. - The state of energy security. What are we doing as Africans to secure the production of electricity and the expansion of the grid. - Are the geographic boundaries that were dictated at the Berlin Conference still relevant? What about the possibility of a regional states? If SADC for example decided to trade in a common currency and drop borders and let’s us decide as a collective how to integrate and share knowledge, expertise and resources based on African principles. How do we get to the point of deciding for ourselves? - The issue of food security as touched in this video. How can we secure the quality of naturally produced seed? Should we ban genetically modified seed altogether? Or do we do it in measures such as heavy taxation on imported seeds? - Should we as Africa challenge the status quo on who is allowed or disallowed to develop nuclear weapons. Is it practical to think of regional ownership of weapons of mass destruction to deter those that do own nuclear weapons? Why are we trusting Western & Eastern powers to act in a responsible and benevolent manner on the use of nuclear weapons? How could we distribute launch codes among regional members as part of checks and balances? Whether we are comfortable or not with the idea of nuclear weapons, we cannot discount the benefits as a bargaining chip. I’m sure your audience can come up with other Interesting and relevant topics of discussion. Shout out to Rutendo for the knowledge and articulation he brings to these discussions. It’s inspirational and hopefully inspires a generation of critical thinkers and doers👏🏻

Two great powerful gentle giants simamele ngomonde Rutendo is a beast he's always spiting mind boggling insights Thanks once more God Pen ngokumbuyisa futhi Rutendo 🙌
Thoroughly enjoyed this conversation.....anyone else notices how Penuel is throwing sarcastic remarks everytime Rutendo is dropping knowledge that he disagrees with.
That last point he made, makes me realize that our survival is not in our hands. The moment we try and take land these seed producing companies could leave, worse poison the land. I like how he understands how the system works in all its facets
This narrative that Panuel is captured is starting to look like its true, just cause you have nothing to fight for doesn't mean you should discourage others
This is not fair... we need more more more more more of this !!!!... This are great minds in debate and sharing of knowledge We need this !!!!!..... Bring back Rutendo!!!!!!
Such great content and knowledge being spread I just hope in future this podcast doesn't get shut down, @Penuel Rutendo is correct when he said the skill you have is simplifying political and economic topics, I believe through your skill you have created the awareness amongst the youth to research on these topics....hopefully in future you can have a discussion with all the great guest's you had on the show for a round table conversation....Till next week 9h00
It's easier to just criticize Penuel's handling of the interview without acknowledging that he is a great host. There are very few hosts who are as knowledgeable as Penuel, who ask such gem questions, who share their opinion to agitate the guest into sharing more and going deeper. Mr. Matinyarare, Africa and the world need you. In fact, they need both of you, Mr. Penuel and Mr. Matinyarare.
God P i understand and respect the fact that you no longer for blacks. But let those who still have faith in us continue to give us hope. Our eyes are opening up each and everyday we are realizing who we are bit by bit and what we need to do to remove the systems of oppression. Thank you i also learn a lot from you too and thankx for the show, you are really bringing us Knowledge. 🤝🏿❤️🖤💚
👏🏽Well done Pen 🖊️. I equally enjoyed the stream you’ve done with your brother too. Bring Mr Ru back he is knowledgeable on information young Africans are hungry for. 🇿🇦🏴
Been waiting for more momentum on this platform. I know I'm one of the people who criticized you for some of your late moves but don't let my criticism deter you from bringing such great gems.. Appreciate your mind brother. Though I don't agree with most things you do but I do wanna see and hear them
I have a strong feeling that Zimbabwe is the only African country that fought for its independence and carried the victory to its people. Other African countries were compromised in their 'victory' like the Rhodesians wanted to do with Bishop Mzorewa. Changing the name from Rhodesia back to original name Zimbabwe spoke clearly to the colonisers that they were no longer in charge. Keep it up sons and daughters of Zimbabwe.
NEED PART 3 ASAP ASAP ASAP ASAP ASAP ASAP that seed point needs elaboration. it is funny how the same issues that aflict africa also aflict the diasopra from jamaica to haiti to brazil and anywhere african and melanated ppl are found
After listening to Rutendo I feel so empowered and fearless. This is what they are talking about when they say "African child it's possible". More life Matinyarare.
Penuel doesn't listen sometimes. He's too quick to respond and interrupt the guest. Sometimes even on subjects he's not well vested in. Rutendo is right Penuel is a representation of SA psyche.
penuel you are a coward. Be a man dawg, be ready to die for what you believe in!!! Rutendo got balls. May the spirits of all black heroes tht fought for their people protect him!!
Very interesting talk. And particularly great that you are debating as well, rather than just nodding in agreement. Definitely worth a regular segment as Zim has been subject to a lot of propaganda. Would be interesting to see Rob Hersov in that mix as well.
I really enjoyed this conversation, first time watching your channel. Rutendo's understanding of the rule of law is impeccable. Please allow him to finish his points next time :) A lot of advocates back then, white and black, fought the apartheid system by using the very same laws to contribute to dismantling the system. It worked for the most part (in conjunction obviously with other strategies aimed at the destroying the system). If you get time Pen, read some of the books written by the first justices of the Constitutional Court who provide specific cases on how fighting the system using its own laws, contributed to dismantling it. I am also reminded of a judgment (Dadoo v Krugersdorp Municipality) in which non-black shareholders (facts are hazy I have not read it in a minute) registered a company and traded with it but during that time, the laws of the country provided that non-whites were not allowed to trade. However, because of the principle that says that juristic entities have their own separate legal personalities, even the colonial judges had to yield to that law/doctrine which forms the backbone of company law till today, and the guys were allowed to continue to trade. So I think that is where Rutendo was going with his argument (if I understood him correctly lol).
You guys are doing good to educate us as young Africans, to understand our History and the systems that controls power and how to overcome the already set obstacles Keep up the good work.
For those who feel like Pen has been interrupting, watch the whole series. This is more like a "tete a tete" that we simply bear witness to and learn from. Very informative banter, though serious topics, and food for thought👌🏾
This is where our issues start as black people we start worrying about small things we must unite as one .thanks penuel for bringing baba rutendo again Amen bazalwane,
Guy's you don't get enough credit on your work that you are doing thanks for breaking this issue down for some us everyday people to get on board with you this type of conversation should reach to many youth us possible
Apologies to everyone who got upset by my interruptions. I'll do better. Please try focus on the content rather than the parts from me that annoyed you. Please don't forget to sign up as paying members on the channel. Blessings 🙏🏽❤️
I feel like you didn't push him enough. This man is not a good person. He calls himself a Pan-African while advocating for the extermination of Ndebele people within his country. Sanctions are not just about land my guy and this man's day will come.
My brother, we all know you're an intelligent human being. We follow your content because you are that good. When you have a guest, please LET THEM SPEAK for fucks sakes! It's your show! You are not a guest! The only reason I did not change to another content was because I was driving! Let the guest speak! Please!
Rutendo Matinyarere, I feel deeply saddened that most of your thought provoking words and knowledge of self awareness about a world in which we Africans resides; most especially Zimbabwean nationals within the diaspora, were not fully exhausted like in the manner in which I felt you ought or should had been given enough space and room to confront at great length. As for next time, let us appeal that Panuel should provide you with at least 3 hours timespan for you to express yourself fully without reservations, interruption or interjection, for the sake of debating or crossing-points. On most issues you were cut off short with no room to maneuver therein or explain at length but we are greatful for the time and opportunity you were granted and given ... However, your intellect and wisdom is unmatched. Of all the people whom have come to this show, none has ever been more ground breaking, communicative, and knowledgeable as significant as what Lutendo has articulated, without him or his unflinching honesty and approach on critical, major issues it is to say that these other people whom had came before, would have done much injustices or at worse, impossible to explain more in detail on the Zimbabweans' issues like the way you did if granted audience to debate/observe these matters. My prayers is that, let us hope America and the world established forces doesn't come reign over you with iron rod.
The genetically modified seeds story I believe that one, back in the days in rural areas we used our own manure from the animals most cattle, and the corn would be perfect. until we started to buy manure from these shops and most of the mealie fields are abandoned because the don't produce much and to hire a tractor and buy manure makes it expensive to plough.
What Penuel misses is that, there are systems. If you don't have the power to go against the system, you use the gap in that system to get to your cause. Purely because the cause means much more than disrespecting the system
what a wonderful debate, what an informative session, thank you guys, Rutendo please come back soon. I would love a debate between Rutendo and adv Ike khumalo. and please invite andile mngxitama to your show
The genetically engineered seeds brings back a memory that has always puzzled me, in my rural home, the community used to plant maize that had purple and red colour, as I grew up that type of maize slowly dissapeared until it is nowhere to be found. Now all the subsistance farmers have to buy seed & fertilizer from the farmer's co-op each & every year. As a result if this many fields are lying dormant & unused as the people dont have money to buy seeds to plant each & every year.
Penuel got Rutendo Matinyarare all worked up for a moment there. I appreciate Penuel's method of squeezing out the right information from his gents. Great episode indeed👌🏾👌🏾
Thanks, Rutendo for teaching or explaining to Penuel the difference between indigenization and the poppet BE-E, the South African mindset, and the local banks monopoly is real
Absolutely a meaningful conversation between two men who both want power returned to the people and corruption to end. Hearing both perspectives has been very informative and I hope the dialog continues. 🙏
Shout out to Rutendo, wishing you all the success Sir and please let us know how ordinary South Africans can support your cause. Thandiswa Mazwai - Nizalwa ngobani, it not "institutional" that people forgot their history. We have to teach our children.
The external validation issue is exactly what came in to my mind. Unfortunately, we black people are like that...we are quick to believe something that comes from white people that something that comes from a black person. Our minds are like that...unfortunately, we have to use the system to fight the system. I guess isisho/isaga esithi "iva likhishwa ngelinye" is the best summary for this
