@Penuel The Black Pen Enjoying it man 40min and I appreciate the brotherly action. On matters of Subconscious mind and behavioural change I would suggest if you havent been exposed to it already you look Neuro Linguistic Programming its a school of psychoanalysis/behavioural therapy that speaks to establishing rapport and better communication with your subconscious to better elicit mental change. First book my homie brought to me was Frogs into Princes by Richard Bandler and John Grinder gives enough exposure to the subject to get the possible applications
Deadly combo💯🔥🤞mummy mst b proud...plz whn does Penrose come on board, I wna c u boys get schooled by her..cz the way u speak of her I feel she is an intellectual beast😂😂😂😂
This is deep. Last year I entered the darkness of heartbreak. It has been hell for 12 months, but I can tell you, it is what is making me a man. I love it.
I have learned so much from the teachings of Friedrich Nietzsche, Alen Watts and Sadhguru 🙏🏾 I believe every human has to make it a point to learn other religions in their 20s to get a good moral compass of the way of being
@@wendymapholo7313 thats awesome I see myself more of a spiritual being then cultural or religious, although raised in a christian household and Zulu with a Xhosa father side.🙂✌🏾 peace, kindness & love
@@wendymapholo7313 Yes such association tend to force you to group think even if you don't agree and Pensons views make perfect sense from his interest from philosophical icons of which I also gain a lot of information from about understanding this weird thing called life
🤣🤣🤣the story of Zitha remind me when I almost drowned at 11 and I taught myself how to swim without anyone teaching me. Im a strong believer we sometimes you have to learn the hard way. I didn't have big brothers but I learned almost everything on the street until I discovered YAHOO HOW TO? IN 2008
@@pensonmlotshwa Lol yeah bro its tough eloxioni ma bru especially if you just sailing with no father figure to guide you😅 💯 bro I wouldn't trade my struggles for anything | we appreciate the dope content gents 🙏🏾
I'm really starting to enjoy listening to this show when the 2 of you are chatting, boMlotshwa. I have been raising my kids using this "dark side theory" but didn't have the terminology or vocab for it. Was even telling them not so long ago that I want them to be so independent that they will be able to function without me. Was scared maybe I'm being too hard on them but unfortunately that's how I was also raised by my mom.

Black men need to realize that African women have voting power, if we feel that the West is a threat, we will shut that down. And move onto China. Andrew Tate and them will be censored to death in Africa.
THIS WAS A AMAZING EPISODE. OLADY GAVE ME SPACE AT HOME. JUST TO WATCH THIS EPISODE. SHE SAID " LENA EYENU ". SO SHOUTOUT. I HOPE TO BE ON THE SHOW. THIS YEAR.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Big ups to everyone who plays there roles so that we have this show, Much love for all !! hope you will continue with the spirit & energy. you people are the real hero's and teachers. ❤🔥
Really great episode 👌🏾, the highlight of today’s episode was when Penson spoke about the dragon and how we get to choose if we become the camel, the lion or the baby up against this dragon 🐉… Super enlightening perspective on how to view life 💯
Yeses, you're breaking ice blocks bros💪! An eye opening episode as always. Speaking of Afrikaners creating hardship on purpose, blacks (Xhosas, tswanas, Vhendas, Sothos etc) are also doing it through initiation school/ going to "entabeni" . The situation there is a suffering manufactured deliberately. I suggest that you invite someone who went there to explain the nature of that suffering and the lessons gained from all that. I've learned a lot there myself.
it feels like i grew up with you two , watching and reading exact same stuff, like i can almost relate to all the topics you've touched on, whether its the books, authors, life coaches et al, i've really been there. my 2 cents to the conversation, is that i feel life as a whole is a series of dualities, darkness and lights, ups and downs. but each moment is both cyclical and linear. its like a loop. if you become the same person after an experience, you are then certainly going to undergo the same experience, and feel the same emotions. therefore in each experience the experience must prepare, grow, mature and teach you skills that the next experience only repeats this cycle but makes you better than before.
Been watching the Last Kingdom on Netflix, this story line has a lot to do with tapping into your shadow to survive or succeed. You have to be a better warrior than the opponent in order to kill and conquer. And once you’ve seen that side of you trust me there’s no turning back no matter how painful or the amount of loss. Guys by far this was the best podcast episode thank you. ❤
I relate to this so much it's scary lol a little disappointing because I thought my best friend and I were special, I'm super glad that there are more brothers out there who are this honest & aware, by the way I attribute everything that I am today to Napoleon Hills Think & Grow Rich, I was lucky to bump into it in my early 20s. Keep up the great work Pen!
Wow, what a soull filling conversation,. We are very grateful for the motivation /encouragement, it is highly needed. Well done guys, your work is highly appreciated ❤
I can relate and I am on the losing side... You've just expalined something I've been struggling with for the longest of time and that is emmersing yourself into what you want to be and it goes back to what you're discussing with your brother. Me being a single parent to a girl, you want to cushion them from the world and handle them kit gloves and not being there for her (my biggest fear) And I'm only reading Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom and this book has been there since it was released... I'm learning that he had to sacrifice and gave up having a family life (his son asked his mother at 5yrs where his father stays and he had been coming home but his son was asleep when he came home and left early in the morning) He sacrificed weekends and 27 years of his life I'm finding that because of this, I'm making excuses to go out and leave my daughter to live her life and experience it for herself. Im experiencing my dark side now through my struggle and I cry like a child because I'm ot acclimatised to struggle because my parents gave up a lot to give me this cushioned life and want the same for her but I am realising that I'm doing her a disfavor The question is: "Am I prepared to take the road less travelled?" I know I have to answer that question myself and just like you I hate tenderpreneurship because it is a lazy way of becoming rich with short cuts (bribes) and ironically hurting ourselves without realising it and why we are where we are as a country and moreover teaching people the wrong way to becoming enterpreneurs (I stand to be corrected) Thank you for the lessons, I look forward to learning and I've chosen to take an active role and participate fully whenever I can I'm finding myself on this journey and having to rewrite what I've come to know about myself
It's crazy how I keep coming back to this episode😅. These okes dropped a lot of gems in this episode and it puzzles me ukuthi njani ise ku 44K! This episode deserves a million views!🤞
Damn that was needed. As a new dad, one think that now he needs to be a "Deputy Mom" not knowing that your role as a Dad is also important ☯️. The balance of the rough and the soft 🙏🏽... Kwande lana othathe khona Penuel
This one really got me Gents please drop links of some of the people who have informed you all blessings 🙏🏿🙏🏿 and yes about time we as abantu where nepotistic by intention, thanks again gents..
Very powerful episode bros, especially the analogy of the great Kai Greene and Ronnie Coleman both whom I have had pleasure to meet a couple of times and what gentle giants they are.
Funny how the way you guys speak about these speakers, I think I’ll be speaking like this about you guys cos I think I consume your content almost everyday
they are both smart they are both good looking they both speak well...i love how they speak isilungu...i could listen to them the whole day..love them both
Penson at that 1 hour mark talking about trade-offs of ultra success in a field of a particular profession or vocation versus the things you value - like family time, etc. was brilliant. It's the struggle but might at some point become a missed opportunity that too is very difficult to return to.
It's refreshing to see Isgora with Intellect . Watching this for the 2nd time, which rarely happens for me. Big Up!!! And thanks for introducing me to (1)Kai Green (2) Carl Yung (3) David Goggins & more. My greatest take-away; "if you want Peace, prepare for War!"
The more I listen to you guys is the more I get confused who's the oldest😅, big up to you gents🙌 Izinqolobane zolwazi👑🙏 Changing the narrative on every level🙌
2013-2015 life was hard in my life.... and i came accross all thos motivationa lvideos, ET, Master Les Brown, Zig Zigla, Tony Robins, Jim Rohn, Napoleon Hill, Ray Lewis, David Goodins, Tim Grover, TD Jakes, myles munroe, Tyrese Gibson, kai greene story and upbringing, Tom Bilyeu, Mel Robbins, Robert Kiyosaki, Their stories.... converted them to mp3 even today are my daily bread.... Then around 2015 lots of SA celebrity started copying those guys motivation.......... 4 mina If you wana be woke listen to this clip. especially if you from ekasie or emakhaya you need it definitely... nayi free plug!
very very very dope session between brothers,..i like the topic of doing things as fmily as brothers wether its business ideas to create furture wealth. better to have the same bloodline work on things then exclude them and try work alone
This was a terrific discussion. I've gained so much from it and I've downloaded it 😎. However, as for the biblical story Penson mentioned I'd like to correct some small mistakes. It was the younger son only who wanted his inheritance. Subsequently, he squandered all his money and ended up looking after pigs. He got hungry and wanted to eat their food (Pigs' food), but he wasn't allowed. Otherwise, you guys are just super smart.
Bafana baMlotshwa hhayi: Your conversations always are the best. I still am leaning more to Penson - he speaks my mind. Bafwethu I wish we could have these talks on radios and televisions that most people spend their times watching. I will meet you guys some day hoepfully.
Hola, Pen eli Manyama. Please put more descriptive information on title of the show, guests, what they do and contact details, etc. This will help your audience to easily grasp what the whole show is about and help you get leads. Love what you're doing mauthi, keep going!
You Pen guys are fuckn smart..this episode is bit creamy 😅😅😅currently I'm reading Eric Thomas "surrounded by idiots ",I feel every part of this conversation love you guys❤❤❤❤
Without getting into spoilers, given what you're saying around 39:00 mark I think you'd enjoy an animated show called "Attack on Titan". He's currently one of my favorite fictional characters off all time - the lengths to which he's willing to go for his why (for better or worse; the dark part of himself he has to embrace etc... Anyway without saying to much, I 100% recommend the show.
Bruh I’m actually in tears right now ima big cry baby Pen 😅… I don mean to exaggerate but Sadguru said something about Mysticism that it doesn’t only exist in the East, Difference is..the East embraced them while in other parts of the world they’re destroyed so they kept quiet 🤫 Pen I have genuine respect for you brother❤🫡💯 this show is definitely a need for Black South Africans
It would be interesting to hear your take on books by Gabor Mate on Trauma (he's done a few podcasts and the Tim Ferris one stands out) and see if the darkness theory of parenting is still a good idea. The unfortunate thing about any childhood experience, is that you have no way of knowing how it will land emotionally with that kids in other words what may seem like character building may land as trauma. That swimming child may take that near drowning as dad abandoning him near death especially if it is coupled by other seemingly innocent incidents that were unrelated but shared a common thread of a father not protecting etc. I'm currently reading his latest book The Myth of Normal which has some fascinating insights into childhood trauma and the results of it.
