I sold a book about a dog breed and it had legal pad notes from the previous owners dog’s condition; people don’t mind when you’re honest about what they are getting; I love adding the flaws or materials or ISBN to title because some people don’t read description or look at all pictures; thanks always for sharing your experiences and research; continued blessings and success ❤

This is great info. I always knew that some people like the writing and inscriptions, but never thought to put it in my title. I usually just put it in my description. Some people like worn out, well loved, items.

Just found your channel - thanks for this! I enjoy selling vintage religious books on Ebay. This is a great thing to look for.

This is really good advice to hear! I just got a set of 7 original 1st Wizard of Oz books from 1904 from an estate sale but a few are in very worn condition… I was hesitant about listing but I’ll try now!

i love selling vintage books with annoitations - i have 2 early 1950's arithmetic text books with some writing and formulas, even some old homework. i have a copy of Strawberry Girl with lots of teacher notes. oh and i just sold a copy of Codependent no more, which was heavily highlighted and also had notes i almost kept for me! lol book lovers understand there is this timeless connection with books, almost like a part of you is still in them after you read it

Crazy "Out Of The Box" Video. I guess there are more niches in bookselling to be discovered. Thanks Katey!

I have used the term "heavily annotated" but usually not because I think someone will be looking for that, more so they are forewarned that it isn't pristine. I've definitely been aware there's an interest, but I think its also very hard to find antique books with writing throughout, because books were much more precious in the 1800's. I love inscribed books myself, when I'm selling a book with an inscription, I also type it out in my description, especially if there are any names, I try to include the full name. There's always a chance an ancestor searching for books about their lineage will be searching the name and find it
