Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets.

Indeed, currently I'm managing my finances wisely and being frugal. In the last 19 months, my investments grew by 43%, adding over $650K in profits. However, I've had losses in the past month, making me anxious. I'm unsure whether to sell everything or wait.

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $121k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Yes, as a wealth manager, I can attest that most wealthy people are under the radar.
@otallono
@otallono 2 месяца назад
That is partly because they are targeted in some way and also don't want any more attention, attention gets old after awhile. I don't see Logan Paul worried about showing off his diamonds or lamborghini's. Taylor swift. All the most popular rappers, even if they're older. The richest athletes almost always flaunt their money. Your theory mainly applies to older billionaires who have already been through that phase and probably aren't used to social media to begin with.
@JV_ApexPerpetual
@JV_ApexPerpetual 2 месяца назад
@@otallonoI think it’s old money vs new money. Lots of wealthy people fly under the radar. The people you’re referring to are famous people. The fame gave them their fortune and some are just extremely talented and have made lots of money through professional sports careers or music. Without wealth management, lots of these people who get rich lose their wealth quickly. Lots of these “Rich” athletes or influencers don’t know how to manage their money or do what Graham is mentioning in this video. They spend all their money before their next paycheck and rinse and repeat.
@Soma2501
@Soma2501 2 месяца назад
@@JV_ApexPerpetual I agree that its definetely influenced by how they earn their income. If getting attention to drive people to buy something from you is how you got rich, of course you're going to do what you can to gain more publicity.

It's not even remotely true. He named older men as examples.. the younger celebrities are a completely different story that's why people follow Logan Paul and Taylor Swift, not weirdo Mark Zuckerberg. The REAL wealthy people are people who never needed millions of dollars to be happy in the first place, none of the people mentioned fit that description. And Stephan is widely known for taking advantage of people for money and ironically that's the guy you're listening to for wisdom.

The two replies above me are correct. That chick you married definitely doesn't sound like wife material. For one, she is waaaay too easily influenced. If she actually believes those people on her mind-control-dancing-pixels device are rich, she has fallen hook, line and sinker. The fact that she now believes her life sucks means that step two of the secret corporate agenda behind the companies that bring those videos to her eyeballs is working. Females are very emotionally driven. It isn't a bad thing, its actually one of the fundamental reasons that males love femininity, yet, it means that they are very susceptible to outside influences. When those outside influences consist of multi-billion dollar corporations that spend billions on research and development of products whose entire purpose is to exploit that emotional vulnerability for profit, they will win most of the time. Her being unsatisfied with life will ultimately bring her to question the person responsible for her life, which is the person providing that life, aka you. Sooner or later, she will begin to think she could do better. Then those divorce papers will arrive in the mail. A while after that, an apology note she wrote will be attached to your door once she realizes you're the best she could do in hopes of emotionally manipulating you to accept the fact that she completely disrespected you and what you had to offer because, well, she needs someone to pay the bills.

The thing is... the more you make the less you spend. Because you value your time and your money. Yes... its nice to have expensive cars or buy a new home to live in thats more expensive and anything. But the thing is... money comes with work. It does not mean your work is your job. You work your money in any way. It could be your business, high paying job, rental income like... you do the work too. Naturally you tend to value money more so you rather invest it and enjoy it later. Because if you feel pain making 300k a year you would not spend 300k. If you make 300k a year just like that with no hassle chances are you will spend it quickly.

no doubt social media is toxic. I'm happy I had a different upbringing. Years ago in Cambridge, I had Indian friends with successful, intelligent parents who taught me about saving. We even played a "Stock market game" in school. Today, I'm debt-free, with a credit score over 800 and can "survive" years without touching any savings. However, my family has a different approach. Despite my efforts to educate them, they struggle with debt and lack financial knowledge. My 12th-grade grandson prioritizes material possessions like an iPhone, airpods and a Dodge Charger and no matter what I teach them,they will not listen for a second. I feel so bad for them as they will have a hard live but I tried many times.

Long before the days of social media I had a cousin who worked as a court bailiff. He'd visit households with top of the range kitchens, bathrooms, furnishings, video and audio, exotic holidays. Not a penny of it paid for.

My best friend when he sees me wearing something "nice" knows to ask what I paid for it because he knows I would never pay full price or take up a deal without getting it dirt cheap haha - Bought a great quality knock-off (oxymoron right😆) designer hoodie at a garage sale & paid $2 when it goes for $260!

Instead of rushing off to collage at 19.... go work a manual labor job for a year.. or at the very least during summer break... Me I worked summers for the DNR... mainly fighting forest fires.... which was fucking brutal... Only before my senior year went to work at an island resort as a deckhand (Rosarios in the San Juans).... Where you get to meet many,many super wealthy folks.. along with their Daughters and grand daughters.... Twas a magical time.. I drove a VW camper or a 911 Porsche

I don't like to think that way. Because just as someone can fake it someone can also be living it. I like to think the best of everybody and assume that yes they are living that lifestyle. Because it's better to be positive than to be negative then to be negative

I know that people who value money tend to save and invest their money in general. The moment you get that 'quick' money or find the money printer thing in this world that makes you money without you having to put A LOT OF WORK. You'll spend it... No wonder why jackpot winners lose their money and a few see this as a life changing money. Better to eat from investment money than my money that sits in the bank.

There’s smoke and mirrors with a lot of things you see, but particularly online. Take much of it with a pinch of salt, and focus on yourself as that’s the only thing that matters. There’s a power to staying in your own lane and keeping your cards close to your chest.

The reality is that most folks with any sort of wealth usually don't flaunt any of it. I'm not rich, I'm comfortable i tend to wear the same clothes all week. A simple v neck tee and snacks. Those flaunting wealth or iced out watches are usually fake or just clout chasing.

I go on vacation once a year in the Carribean, maybe a few concerts in the summer and that’s about it. People think I’m rich. I’m not but I do invest probably not as much as I should but you can’t take it all with you in the end. I’ll always try to be smart and stay out of debt but I’m still gonna live once in a while.

OR, when you are digging in hard desert soils, rent an auger style post-hole digger. Drill some small holes in a circle outlining the big crater you want to dig, and then join them together with a shovel. Half the labor, half the time, and only a fraction more money. A tip from an old dry land gardener.

Social media and comparison is poison. I say this as a wealthy person who can easily feel inferior by comparing to others who appear or are richer than I. Do your own thing people. Seek freedom. Seek solid relationships. Seek financial stability. After a certain amount of income money doesn’t make you happy. People don’t believe me but it’s true. Money can buy you choices and things and help people and bless people but it may not make you happy or fulfilled. That is something inside of you. ❤
