Have to created your own business. Like LLC if being a long term driver. Because after all we are independent contractors. And Wal-Mart made it clear under new terms " We don't have drivers "
This is bigger then you think. There are people selling their accounts so the immigrants can work off them and they get paid weekly. I’m sure the ones who sells the account takes care of the taxes.
that’s not what’s happening. immigrants are buying and renting accounts from people who’ve bought socials and personal info from the dark web. that’s how they make their money. by selling accounts to tens of thousands of immigrants all over the country. nobody is selling their own personal accounts to immigrants. maybe to their own friends and family.
Agree if these gig companies know of these fraudulent accounts after they deactivate people for fraudulent activity they should get pounded in lawsuits!!!!!!!!
The DoorDash thieves (I am talking about the executives) should pay those taxes plus be sued by the people who were told they owed taxes for emotional damage for 10X that amount.
They won’t care. 5 scammers at each store, $200 a day x 4600 stores is $1.7B in untaxed revenue. Assuming 10% liability on that it’s only $170M in lost taxes. What is that? Like 5 minutes of spending?

it is still happening in lake charles louisiana .i talk to loaders here and two people here are still using accounts that dont belong to them and the new terms of use did not change anything.
I've been thinking it's going to get worse before it gets better. It's definitely getting worse at this point. Thanks for reporting on it. I saw some of them at Walmart yesterday. The leader was posted up in a chair in the parking lot of a neighboring business assisting shoppers with loading cars when they came out. They have a fleet of cars parked at a different store. Another guy who may have been the muscle was having a very heated discussion with someone on the phone. There is no fck'n way this has been going on this long without someone at the top getting kickbacks. They're running it like a business. I wonder if it's tr@fficking. Guys we're only seeing the surface of things. Maybe it's not as deep as my conspiracy but there's definitely something else below the surface happening. For these companies to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that identity th3ft is happening and doing nothing but forcing us to watch it. They're not even hiding the bullsh!t. Willing workers aka PIGEONS! All these apps do is throw popcorn (wack rides that make no sense) on the ground at the park and the pigeons come swooping in and eats it all up! They're out here taking 29 mile trips for $22. Literally grossing $25/hr going around 30 miles. We do that same 30 miles for around $60-70 in short rides with surge. The difference between $22 and $70 is $48 these pigeons are giving up JUST to say, "...well, I was busy and you weren't". Well, we're profitable, and you're not, pigeon. Business is about profits, and that's what contractors need to realize. Without profits, you're not gonna be in business for the long haul.
