What's going on everyone! In this video, we wrap up our 3-part custom sock saga. We take LuluPup through the busiest month of the year, and not all things go as planned. As the story unfolds, we transition into the question... how are people making millions from Shopify? Think of this as a day in the life where we dig into this question.
LuluPup is built on the Shopify platform, using Print on Demand. This allows us to sell things like canvases and socks, without having to buy or hold inventory. I only pay when the customer pays me. To make matters even better, product is shipped with the USA.

To be honest, i always got annoyed when I saw the recommendation for the "I started a custom sock store" video. but i watched it, i watched the rest, i got here, i saw the honest struggles of handling a business and training people. I was satisfied. I love this straightforward honesty. I was a youth leader and i lead and trained leaders for character development, we were more of a disciplinary organization and character dev, but this, this is great. I feel so slapped with the truth just watching this series. I can see where i am lacking, so much lacking as a leader. i was shocked to how fast you expanded from just a sock store to also become notebook store!

@@raisugen5025 It is simple because I have previously run an ecommerce store but I have been out of the game for a while. I understand the hard parts but I also understand the rewards. In my previous store I did at best a $10k dollar day on a $2 product. My issue was shipping so many products. I had never considered print on demand in those days But my eyes have been opened.

You need to find a way to take your graphic editors out of the equation. Solution is to create a tool to allow the customer to quickly edit their photo.

I was thinking the same thing. Or at the very least streamline the process. Maybe have the user position the image and/or locate features (nose, ears, etc..). With this data, some machine learning could remove the background. Along with some custom tools, 1 designer could theoretically handle thousands a day, while training the software to be more accurate. Scalable too.

@@IsaacDozier1 there are tools online that will detect and cut out the person or animal in the picture. It's an API you call from your website. Thy charge a few cents an image

I wouldn't want them to be able to screenshot the image and use it--you can sell or "gift" a wallpaper in bundle. I would also want them to not think it was "that easy".

Great video. So much value and your edits are the best. I watch all other e-com videos at 1.5-2x speed. @Brandon De Oca Whatever helps you sleep at night man. You're simply justifying in your own mind why people sell regurgitated information to people. The IM space is entirely about selling shovels, not digging gold. Digging gold is what the suckers did and the IM marketers in those days sold the shovels. Because it was more profitable to sell the shovels to the saps then to actually dig for gold and hope you get lucky.
