He appeared in an idol maker show franchise and although he didn't debut in a group, he's been releasing music as a solo artist and acting on the side. But I get your point, and on a majority I love how many renowned artists from the BL genre (not only in Korea but other countries as well) are not limiting themselves to just being BL actors and introducing their various skill sets to the industry.

Thais are really open to the concept of BL dramas. All BLs are really interesting that my girlfriend (now ex but still my close friend) made me watch one, and knowing that most actors are straight and also open to doing characters from the BL scene. I applaud them.
