Although there’s many of Curtis Mayfield songs that I really enjoy, my favorite is THE MAKINGS OF YOU, gone too soon, but NOT forgotten Great job Chet!!!!!👍👍

Gardenia, you are quite the musical historian...you've been doing a lot of listening, (smile)! I have to admit, I have followed Curtis from day one, but I was not familiar with this song, but it is beautiful, and a huge hit for a lot of folks, so I'm gonna put it on my to-do list, and dedicate it to you when I cover it!
