There are real people behind that feedback, and it is not ethical and acceptable to talk about matter regarding politics, religion or race with customers. And yes, players are just a bunch of idiots (no matter if they are kids or adukts), most of them cuz it is not unusual to find those complains in gaming companies. And over time, these kind of things kind of make you grow resentful against players.

The issue is one of the fictional characters is based on another culture's diety that is black and he got white washed. Mihoyo buffed a character named Zhongli because the CN playerbase was complaining he was too weak to represent China. If they don't want to represent other cultures fine, however make it consistent across the board

Firstly, fictional characters without any relation to a specific ethnicity, culture or whatever can be played by anyone, who is providing good acting skills. Their ethnic background should be the least concerning part about that shit. Peter Pan was a normal white baby who was dragged to Neverland as stated in the original work. Tinkerbell was a white pixie and Ariel (which comes from the Danish fairy tale) had white skin. Same goes for the Genie even though he was originally blue and when he did turn into a human-like entity, he had white skin. In the story, no reference is ever made to her specific external features. Exactly the same thing, it's in the eye of the beholder... If we're talking about the Disney live action movie of Ariel, then of course she doesn't look like the animated one. sumeru was a great region to explore, honestly loved it more than Liyue which is based off China. Liyue feels familiar, reminds me of home. But Sumeru had so many elements of a culture Im unfamiliar with. And the skin color is the least of my concerns, I agree it wouldve been nice to have more diverse skin tones so it is visually stimulating. But the environment and the story is the most important to me. Music was great too.
