They don't use rent in credit scores, but to get an apartment they check your credit score.

My current and previous landlords chose to rent to me because I included a list of landlord references who would definitely confirm that I was a stalwart renter and they had no need to worry about my skipping out on them, which helps since I have never owned a credit card.

Sorry to inform you, but I at one time owned two houses, both I paid cash for, when I went to a bank for a loan to fix the roof you would have thought I was asking for them to rebuild both, needless to say they found a way and I didn't get it, 8 sold one house, fixed the other and kept the rest with me, I'm done with bank's 🙄

The focus of our youth shouldn't be finding reasons to excuse mediocrity. What she has to say is valuable and worth considering, but teaching kids things like "buying a house is white" might be not be the best message. In the very least it would have to come along with diverse viewpoints and material that contains data to reinforce personal responsibility.

Environmental Racism It does not happen by chance by decisions made politically. Environmental racism is the cumulative result of discriminatory policies. Examples would be redlining, voter suppression, segregation.

Regarding the tax credit, I have a teen I don’t get it because his dad gets it, his dad doesn’t want it or need it but I the mom can’t get it and I’m struggling so the rich get it and the poor parent gets nothing.

Can somebody tell me where the line is between the banks and the credit bureau's quad? They say On the apps I have near 800 credit With 2 of the 3 credit bureaus. But then you go to the bank and all of a sudden your score is barely over 650! Is the racism stronger when it's localized?
