Everything you said is truth. People get irritated with or dislike me because I stopped trying to be friends with them at work. I am neither hot or cold. Just neutral. I stopped because most coworkers and people in general, are not people I even want to know or be friends with. They have no characteristic that I am interested in. And no, I am not an arrogant person, just became tired years ago of trying to be a normal human around people only to be trampled.

I can relate to this. After going through a smear campaign by a narcissistic manager at work no one talks to me. He is the problem and everyone at work just sides with him. They are blind to the narcissistic abuse he put me through. I have been invited to the Christmas party, Christmas company lunch, etc and I always declined decline decline. It's like I no longer want to associate with fake people. I'm cut from a different cloth. Even if I am hated for it.

Our lives are heading into a more meaningful direction even though 3d humans don't recognize it. To them, it's about getting that paycheck no matter how much you hate your job. My brother is an engineer and makes great money. He and his wife liked me and my husband when we were broke. Once we started doing well, they got cold with us. They then became vindictive and we no longer talked.
One thing ive learnt is that those who have been thru trauma and survived who have first lost it all mentally financially than rebuild thereselves. They learn who they are deeply it is one of the Positives that come out of it if you survived.

I work a job and a coworker hated my guts because he made a dollar less per hour and worked 5 days when i worked 4 days. He tried to say im the reason he has to work 5 days and he could have 3 days off if i would just work 5 days and i told him to let me know what week he wants to do that and ill work an extra day. I would let him choose what days i worked because i didnt care and would always switch with him so he always had coverage and flexibility because of me. I just kept being nice and his bullying became worse. He kept making my job hard or making it look like i sucked. Whenever i tried to go the extra mile at work it would piss him off because he was lazy and i was making him look bad. I think he told lies about me to the employer because my boss started acting pissed at me when he was always cool with me before. I work somewhere else now. That bully actually thinks he made me lose my job and "won". Let him think that. I actually get an extra 2 bucks per hour now and my new job is easier and so much better. Thank you, hater!!! Lol.
