For clarification, about tanghulu, i do not know why the "Chinese" representative said there is only one kind of fruit made for Tanghulu. In China, we also use various kinds of fruit to make Tanghulu as well, such as mandarin,Grape, strawberry, Chinese yam too. Tanghulu is pretty traditional and cultural food with much longer history than we thought in China. And i am glad other countries ppl like Chinese street foods such as tanghulu. To the Chinese girl in this video, i want to say" don't give other ppl with incorrect answer, when you don't know much about it”.

@@dingyiyu9228The term "culture appropriation" or "cultural appropriation" is just stupid. Someone should feel proud or honored if something from your culture is desired and/or adopted by another culture. That Chinese girl, I suspect she is a fake Chinese, she said that there is only one kind of tanghulu in China. In fact, in ancient China, there were tanghulu made from various fruits. Candied haws on a stick is a traditional Chinese snack that originated in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is made by skewering wild fruits with bamboo skewers and then dipping them in maltose syrup. The syrup hardens quickly when exposed to the wind. A common winter snack in the north is usually made of hawthorn skewers. The sugar is thin and frozen. It tastes sour, sweet and very cold. The ancient practice began during the Song Dynasty. "Yanjing Chronicles" records: The candied haws on a bamboo stick is made with mountain red, crab apple, grape, sesame yam, walnut kernel, bean paste, etc., dipped in rock sugar, sweet and crispy And cool.

As a Thai I feel somehow offended that Stir Fried Basil with Minced Pork were chosen to be represent Thai street food because it's more of a full meal than something that you can take and eat while you walk. I respect that someone made it into street food but I'd like to tell you more about it. This dish is also known as Krapao Khai Dao, it appears in restaurants regardless of class, and it also appeared in convenience store as Bento. And the basil itself is actually just a variant of Stir Fried Vegetable with Meat and there also cursed version of it where the vegetable was excluded. In case you wonder why do I know this much, well, I used to work in a restaurant and I'm a handyman who handle almost everything from a cashier to waiter to advertisement designer, to a chef, and the owner's secretary, and not only I saw Krapao Moo Sap without Krapao (Basil) from the internet but I also received and cooked such order myself. If you want to eat the cursed version, please cook for yourselves because meat is way more expensive than vegetable, in order to cook the same amount of food compare to normal version, it supposed to be more expensive thus it's practically legal robbery.

"Korean + world cuisine = Korean specialties" is a formula commonly used by Koreans, such as Korean fried chicken, Korean sushi, Korean fish sashimi, and Korean soybean noodles. Tanghulu will also become Korean tanghulu. In fact, Koreans don’t know that the sugar in Chinese tanghulu is supposed to be thin, taste good, and not stick to the teeth. Koreans slightly change the cooking methods of food from all over the world and make them Korean, just like copying a composition.

In China, fruit Tanghulu 水果糖葫芦 has always been our traditional snack! Thirty years ago, when I still lived in Beijing, my favorite was strawberries and oranges Tanghulu! I don't understand why this China representative claims China only has hawthorn Tanghulu - perhaps she is from the south? Tanghulu is originated in northern China, and I find it perplexing that she makes such a statement. In recent years, Tanghulu has gained popularity in South Korea, with many attempting to culturally appropriate it, falsely implying that China only has hawthorn one. The truth is, fruit Tanghulu has been a part of Chinese cuisine for decades! Search on Google for the official introduction page of Tanghulu, and you'll find pictures from 20 years ago of a grandpa selling fruit Tanghulu in Beijing!😅

This channel is extremely dangerous as it promotes Korea by defaming China and Chinese culture. In the previous Jajangmyeon video, the dish was deliberately made completely different from the original Zhajiamien in China to show that it's different from the Korean version. This "Chinese" girl may be an actor hired by this channel to damage China's image. She could be Vietnamese.

Interesting, you guys know why this snack is called tanghulu? cuz its English name is given completely according to its Chinese pronounciation"糖葫芦“. Just exactly like "lamen" and ”ラーメン“ in japanese. So everytime when I see "korean tanghulu" I feel kind of weird. I wonder if koreans do not feel strange when they constantly publicize a so called ”korean food" with the others by using a Chinese word?
