It's equal part ketchup and mayo, with a little bit of mustard. Some places will put relish in it. I worked at a burger joint in Utah where we made it from scratch. Super simple, and super tasty.

idk what brand they tried... go for hormels pickled pigs feet.... only that brand if you want to not feel sick. yes pickled pig feet is gelatenous. however when you get it into your mouth it is like almost eating a delicious savory flavor of a warhead. with pig feet you have to eat around the bone. well hormel makes it easy for you. you would learn the difference if you try more than one version. also they don't leave the hair on the pig foot... hormel never has hair but i recently tried one with hair and it completely made me want to gag knowing i was trying to eat a hairy foot

except some animals are specifically bred because there is demand for their meat while others aren't. :) would a chicken survive on its own? No. Would a reindeer? Yes. Would I eat animals that exist solely to become food with no other purpose whatsoever? Yes. Would I eat animals that had a great life on their own in the woods somewhere? No.

My mom would always make fry sauce, and I LOVE it. Also, when I lived in SC we went to a little place where we would buy crickets for our leopard gecko. I remember seeing a jar of pickled pigs feet and other pickled "treats." ( ALSO I LIVE IN UTAH NOW SOO.... I SEE FRY SAUCE ALL THE TIME WHEN SHOPPING. )

Caitlin West I understand not touching it for religious reasons, but my mom used to eat it as a snack. I actually liked it. It tastes like pickled kielbasa(like you used to get at the bar(along with pickled eggs). The pig's feet she ate wasn't that funny color though.

Annoys me more than it should because I read a biography about him that my Uncle got me for Christmas and I distinctly remember it saying that he loved to eat "peanut butter and banana sandwiches fried in butter".

Fry Sauce is amazing! I am from Utah and I always forget it isn't outside of Utah much. It CAN just be KEtchup and Mayo but there are so many cool spices you can add to it to give it a little punch. I really love, Ketchup, Mayo, a little BBQ Sauce, and some seasoning all mixed together. It is so good!

+Michelle Evans maybe people are overlooking that it is being fried. a raw banana with bacon would be nasty. but elvis did not have bacon. he had pb and banana fried in butter. i've heard of bacon with pb, banana with pb sandwiches but not all three together. two many weird textures and flavors together are disturbing. kind of like a chocolate covered ginger bread cookie. i bet if i googled that, it exists.

Kevin Romero It's not about the consumption, it's about the treatment of the animals beforehand. The Yulin festival dogs are kept in horrible conditions, killed inhumanely (skinned alive, boiled alive, tortured, crammed into cages with 50 other dogs one on top of the other, etc) and then consumed. The reindeer in Alaska is farmed similarly to cattle and are regulated or, if it is wild, hunted and killed quickly.

As a Utah native, I grew up on Fry Sauce. Many food chains in Utah have their own distinct recipes. Some places are more tangy than others. Homemade fry sauce is the best. I recommend you try and make it yourself using these 3 simple ingredients. Ketchup, Mayo and about a teaspoon of Pickle Juice.
